The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth...

This nation simply cannot risk another four years of the most inept, incompetent, and corrupt president in ALL of modern political history. Not even Jimmy Carter, a fully decent and truly devout man, was as inept and incompetent as Donald J. Trump. He wasn't even close.

We MUST defeat tRump November 3'rd 2020!!

July 5, 2020 - The Lincoln Project today released their latest ad, “Historic”, highlighting the staggering levels of unemployment amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic, plaguing both its citizens as well as the U.S. economy.

This pain of lost employment cuts through gender and race—with men and women, African Americans and Hispanics alike, all experiencing significant job loss.

Reed Galen, co-founder of The Lincoln Project said, “Every American right now is asking themselves, ‘Am I better off than I was four years ago?’ With 8 million fewer Americans working today than when Donald Trump first took office, we know the answer.”

“Millions of hardworking Americans are facing looming evictions, past due bills, and an uncertain job market, while the President continues to boast about the NASDAQ on Twitter. He’s completely out of touch.” Galen continued.

With every other wealthy nation on Earth reopening and having contained this virus, it’s obvious Donald Trump completely mishandled our response to the pandemic. He politicized masks, went out of his way to downplay the seriousness of the virus, likening it to the flu. He even called it a hoax.

How many people have died due to his negligence? How many jobs and small businesses are never coming back because of his lack of leadership?

And now, coronavirus cases are on the rise, stalling state re-openings, and we continue to have an Executive branch that’s failed to deliver a clear plan of action. So, when the country is asking if we can afford four more years of Donald Trump, the answer is clear: no.

    1. Thank you for proving beyond a shadow of doubt that you and all cons like you are EXACTLY what you have stated in your comment.

      Actually you're MUCH worse.

Having NOTHING intelligent or truthful to say you simply regurgitate verbal vomit.

  2. RN... you seem to be attracting the 3rd grad loser types. The guys who can't put together a decent sentence and are unable to express a thought without using childish language. And these are typically the folks we see who are mad about students being indoctrinated. We call it educated, they call it indoctrination.

I'm still waiting for even one of these trolls to defend the merits of Pres Trump.

    1. In the small atrophied minds of the tRump cons education is indoctrination. The weak minded believe increasing knowledge and thereby improving societal conditions for ALL somehow threatens their privileged existence and place in a society they believe only they should have a day in. They are deathly afraid their grasp on priviledge and influence is rapidly slipping away. It is.

They will not defend the merits of tRump. Because they can't and they're just smart enough to know it.

There is a reason tRump said during his campaign in 2015-2016 that he loved under and uneducated people. Now we FULLY know why.

    2. Dave that’s really hilarious , I guess that you’ve never read the Disgusting posts that your buddy RN writes on Lisa’s blog.

    3. Actually I have anon. And RN knows what I think about that. Heck, I question why anyone comments there as it is mostly a free fire zone of racist comments, scatalogical "humor", preening and taunting. There was a time when one could have a discussion there and Lisa even joined in. But no more.

RN though has shown himself to be able to consign the blue language to mostly that site, showing himself more than able elsewhere to respond cleanly. As he has said, he generally responds in kind. Maybe if every comment there disagreed with him and his opinions in a more disagreeable manor, we'd see something different.

But that's not what I'm talking about here. Your first comment, if in fact you are "that" anonymous, was a foul language attack. Why? And why attack RN, instead of his ideas or opinions? If your only reason for coming here is to insult, and a few of us have asked RN the same thing about posting at WYD, why come here? Why post?

Honestly, I'd love some reasonable push and pull of real discussion. Cleanly. As adults, as opposed to kids in the sandbox. But most people from both sides do not seem desirous of that. I know some will say tough, but I want to believe we as a people are better than what we are seeing.

      But I am not convinced.

    4. Generally Dave Iagree with you. You and I are not always on the same page but when we are not we simply move along. Why? Because we have always respected each other. Even when we disagree.

I always liked the give and take of opposing idea's. Heck, that's how most folks learn and grow. Unfortunately Dave, after 10 years of blogging (and my viees have evolved and changed over time) I realize a GREAT number of folks cannot have adult, informative yet respectful give and take. Unless you conform to the tribes general rules. Both ideological sides are guilty to a degree. However, the truth is the tRump cons (as fake as they are) are IMO the most egregious. Perhaps I should just stay away but when attacked personally I NEVER back down. I give it back in kind. So, if ever those at WYD want to behave as you outlined I'm good with that. Bug they won't. Probably because their tribe woulds ostracize them. A fate the followers find too painful.

  4. RN... a little off topic, but I am trying to understand how today's GOP operates.

For years they have resisted law imposed from the top. For example from DC or governor's mansions. They've said for as long as I can remember, that locally elected ppl know better how to manage their areas. Now we are seeing the exact opposite.

Governors have overruled and state legislators have have even outlawed local officials like mayors from imposing mask requirements in their cities and counties. Why is that? For years we've been told those local authorities know best, but now, not so much? It makes no sense.

And then yesterday, President Trump waded into local school decisions. The GOP has hated the Dept of Education since Nixon estblished it, always calling for local control. But now Trump thinks DC knows best. How are GOP politicians gonna support this, and they will, and then later, with a straight face, once again call for local control?

    It's just baffling.

    1. Yes it is Dave. As a former trpublican (until 14 years ago) and vice chair of my former town's republican town committe I know first hand that was the belief and focus. In my opinion as the GOP became ever more rightwing extreme and fascist leaning (following Reagan's the government isn't the solution. It's the problem rallying cry it has been accelerating the march to more central control in the hands of the rightwing political machine and the rightwing judiciary. Just my take but I don't think I'm too far off Dave.
