Krugman Getting it Wrong... Again

I just stopped in at Contra O'Reilly, where my man Will has a link up to a Paul Krudman Krugman, David Brooks exchange. The comment stream, as it turns out is quite lively, with spinning Whirling Dervish, possibly the net's most far out in in left field blog spinning like the proverbial top.

    Thanks for posting this, Les. I would especially ask that the reader pay special attention at 2:43 of the video. This, I believe, is where Mr. Krugman officially detaches himself from reality.

This is understandable, and as it should be. The pursuit of finding improved methods to better identify unstable individuals and thereby keep firearms out of the hands of such individuals is a worthy pursuit. As we consider how to deal with increasing societal violence we must find a happy medium that will both improve public safety and preserve our second amendment rights. However, my take is the shift, as significant as it has been, came too late and too little.
