The Mistake of Multiculturalism

Multicultural is defined as "of, relating to, or designed for several distinct cultures." Ism is defined as " a distinctive doctrine, cause, or theory."

Multiculturalism can then be described, with reference to nations, as a society in which several, or many, distinct cultures coexist each living by the distinctive differences that set then apart from the other cultures that make up in the nation in which they live.

Rather than assimilating into a national culture that broadly identifies a nation and its people {prime example would be the United States of Almeria in the late 1800's and early 1900's} multiculturalism encourages "tolerance" of all cultural behaviors. The result being cultures such as Islamic gain hold and eventually begin demanding the rest of the society accepts their beliefs, doctrines, theories, and causes.

Societies such as exist in some European nations and the USA, those who are tolerant by their very nature and have tolerant governmental policies are most prone to the dangers of a totally tolerant and completely uncontrolled multiculturalism. Countries such as The Netherlands, France, Germany, and England are recognizing the error of multiculturalism.

British Prime Minister Cameron recently made remarks that President Obama frankly ought to be making and President GWB should have made. They should have been made and continually repeated, over, and over, and over again. Until the nation understood them at what is at stake.

Video of the British Prime Minister's remarks and additional commentary.

The reference to breaking down barriers from the gentleman who is obviously pro Islam is laughable. Laughable because the only barriers he is referring to is the remaining barriers to an Islamic society ran by Islamic law in Great Britain. So much for tolerance eh?

And another look at Prime Minister Cameron.

President Barrack Hussein Obama, please, oh please  take a lesson from your British counterpart before it is to F'ing late!
