More Government Pork
One has to wonder when it will ever end. Another five billion dollars in federal grants for advanced medical research compliments of the American taxpayers. You gotta love the propaganda in the following video.
Another five billion dollars invested in advanced medical research by the U.S. taxpayer. All for research that an be, and would have been accomplished anyway through the private sector absent government involvement.
Will we ever wake up? Are the people of the United States of America, heretofore the freest and most productive and advanced society in the world, willingly to trade their freedoms for government security? Irrespective of the potential security gained, the corresponding loss of liberty will be great.
And so, as we consider handing over more of our individual liberty to chose to the ever encroaching Big Brother Government, ask yourself this; in the end will the trade off be worth the loss in freedom.
Now the government sponsored video. You be the judge.
