The President, no doubt enjoying once again escaping the homeland for his Asian visit, bristled when asked questions with regard to his Afghan policy. Or is better stated his lack of an Afghan policy. When the Associated Press's Jenifer Loven asked the President "Can you explain to the people watching and criticizing your deliberations what piece of information you're still lacking to make that call" , the President showed his obvious displeasure. Could it be that the President lacks the "cool" to deal with anything but softball questions? The Presidents non response, "Which respect to Afghanistan Jennifer, I don't think this is a matter of some datum point of information I am waiting on. ... Critics of the process ... tend not to be folks who ... are directly involved in what's happening in Afghanistan. Those who are, recognize the gravity of the situation and recognize the unimportance of getting it right" . The Presidents response ...

American Pie. This rendition and re do speaks so loudly to the dangers we currently face. The question we must ask ourselves as Americans is this; Do we have the will to educate our children in values and ethics that will result in their ability to preserve and thus enjoy the liberties their parents and grandparents..., etc. enjoyed. Time is not on our side.

Politicians, both in our past and present, understand three things well, money, power, and control. If they legitimatize those with the money they are in turn given their greatest desire, POWER. There are undoubtedly many people of both major political parties, and the minor ones as well, that may take issue with the premises of the foregoing video clip. The skepticism of those who question the premises is understandable. However, it would be well if everyone, and I mean literally everyone deeply questions their governments legitimacy. There is little question that our government today, is not the government established under our constitution. A government of the people, by the people, and for the people. And, we are fast approaching that day when the remnants of that original vision and propmise will perish from the face of the earth. Unless we do something NOW.

Since Obamanomics and the Wunderkind Crew have taken over, as things continue to get worse here is a theme song to consider.
