Freedom or Liberty - Which Shall it Be

There are undoubtedly many people of both major political parties, and the minor ones as well, that may take issue with the premises of the foregoing video clip. The skepticism of those who question the premises is understandable. However, it would be well if everyone, and I mean literally everyone deeply questions their governments legitimacy. There is little question that our government today, is not the government established under our constitution. A government of the people, by the people, and for the people. And, we are fast approaching that day when the remnants of that original vision and propmise will perish from the face of the earth.

Unless we do something NOW.

Is President Obama Really a War Hawk?...

Image
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Purveyor of Truth Senator Tim Kaine (D-Va) Is it reasonable to argue that the President is, in fact a war hawk? Given his significant increase in drone attacks and his unwavering position he does not need Congresses blessing to wake war against ISIS it is reasonable to answer yes to the foregoing question. Senator Tim Kaine, an early supporter of the President thinks he overreaching his authority. ORANGE, Va. — In June, after he had written a scorching opinion article seeking to constrain the president’s unilateral power to make war, Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia, one of Barack Obama ’s earliest supporters, buttonholed the commander in chief at the White House for what he called “a spirited discussion.” The militants of the Islamic State were pouring across the Syrian border into Iraq, and seizing cities where so much American blood and treasure had been spilled. But Mr. Kaine said he told the president in no uncertain terms that if h...

May PEOTUS Trump Reap That Which He Has Sowed...

Rational Nation U S A Purveyor of Truth This weblog shares the sentiments of the author of the following open letter to PEOTUS Donald J. Trump. Bob Weidman expresses what nearly 63% of the American people are thinking tonight to one degree or another. Mr. Weidman’s open letter was published in The Huffington Post earlier this evening. Dear Mr. Trump: On the eve of your inauguration, and with all due respect to the office of the Presidency you are soon to hold, the deference you have earned, and the essential decency of the American people: Fuck you, you fucking fuck. I wish there were other words, but these are trying times, and trying times call for honesty, a concept with which you are clearly unacquainted. And I have to say what’s in my heart. So fuck you, you fucking fuck. I am not going to pretend there is anything normal about your presidency. I am not going to pretend that you are entitled to respect. You are entitled to nothing. Not a chance to prove yourself,...

Over the Top, Even for Obama...

Image
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny No longer can there be any question. President Obama has removed any doubt. He is the most narcissistic, arrogant, and unethical man who has ever occupied the Oval Office. His arrogant, almost Godlike attitude should be enough to convince the voting public to pull the lever for anybody but Obama in November. But that's just one persons view. More interesting commentary found here , here , here , and here . Disgusting, simply disgusting. Via: Memeorandum

His True Colors...

Image
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny The mark of a desperate campaign and it's candidate. Some might even call it despicable. CINCINNATI — A seemingly offhand utterance from President Obama has turned into a major point of contention between the two campaigns, as Team Obama tries to explain what the president meant when he told a crowd of supporters that “Voting is the best revenge.” It happened in Springfield, Ohio Friday as Obama was discussing the economic policies of the 1990s. When Obama referred to “a Senate candidate by the name of Mitt Romney,” the crowd booed his opponent’s name — certainly not unusual reaction at political rallies of both parties. Then Obama said, “No, no, no — don’t boo, vote. Vote. Voting is the best revenge.” It was an ugly and small-minded moment, especially for the end of a campaign when candidates usually try to stress larger, optimistic themes. Romney incorporated the “revenge” line in his speech in Ohio Fri...
