The size of our strategic reserve, sure is not getting much publicity, is it. Imagine if any other president had allowed that to drop so low?
ReplyDeleteHi Dave, and yes, in a different time, when the nation was in a different place, this would not be happening. But, that was then, and this is now.
ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to America We the People>/b> allowed it to happen. Whether through apathy, ignorance, or a belief a reality show and "businessman" could correct errors of the past no longer matters. What does is if We the People take the power we've always had and in 2026 and 2028 (and beyond) and begin the work of putting America, and the promise of America, back together in a way stronger and more resilient than it has ever been.
Frankly Dave, I'm running out of steam. As the process of aging sets in and physical ailments more and more affect me and Ms. RN I stay in the know by going to non mainstream sources for news and information. The heightened propaganda from both the fascist right and the progressive left is both less truthful and reliable.
There is a formless, invisible energy that permeates the cosmos. The interconnectedness of existence itself and I now simply trust that that energy, call it god, nature, karma, whatever, will, at some point work it all out.
