Trump's Pick for Speaker Is a Nightmare Waiting to Happen


Hopefully the remaining Non MAGA patriots of Trump's gop have the good common sense and decency to not support the former guy's push for Speaker of the House.

Should Trump's selection prevail the likelihood of an egregiously ineffective and even more incompetent House is only increased.

If you value better government that works on behalf of ALL people, contact your representatives in congress and tell them to not vote for Trump's choice for Speaker and support Trump's opposition in the November 2024 general election. Whoever that may be.

It certainly doesn't mesh with the world that I see and it doesn't mesh the data, either. According to the Charitable Aid Foundation, the United States is THE most generous country on the planet (65% of its citizens donate money, 43% donate personal time, and 73% help out strangers). Obama's lead is within the margin of error. Understanding polls are at best statistical indicators of public sentiment, and they can be manipulated through the process of weighting, I do not place an abundance of faith in polls. I decided to post these results mostly as a realistic reminder to the euphoria the left seems to be enjoying at the present moment.
