Happy Thanksgiving to all!

 May the nation find a way to be thankful for all that it is blessed with, and also a way to heal the deep political, economic, and cultural wounds that have been metastasizing for years.

We are all interconnected in profoundly deep and spiritual ways. Tapping into this interconnectedness can and will bring profound joy and contentment.

Isn't it time to stop "othering" those who look and talk differently or think differently than we do? We are a nation supposedly united. Isn't it time we started acting like it once again?

However, on the other hand there are certainly those who have a clear vision as to what and why Wall Street needs to change. The reasonable people supporting OWS are doing so to end crony capitalism, corporatism, the unethical practices of banking executives and mortgage lenders, as well as government bailouts of businesses. Anyone who denies the existence of racism, whether from the right or the left is either naive or blind. Under the new health care bill - did you know that all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% Sales Tax? The bulk of these new taxes don't kick in until 2013 if you sell your $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to mess with the retiring generation who often downsize their homes.
