A Quote From A Revolutionary Who Despised the US System of Government...

Above all, always be capable of feeling deeply any injustice committed against anyone, anywhere in the world. This is the most beautiful quality in a revolutionary.

Che Guevara

In America today the signs of civil unrest are growing. Driven by ignorance and greed.

Corporations and politicians - lying  to folks and playing on the peoples fears to keep them in line.

In the wealthiest  of nations (the USA) people go hungry and many are unable to secure the medical treatments they need.

In a nation that claims to value freedom (the USA) more people rest in a prison cell than anywhere else on the planet. Why?

America is in need of an American Che Guevara. One who can actually unite us once again in a common effort to secure the blessings this land/nation has to offer to ALL of its inhabitants. Every last one of them.

May PEOTUS Trump Reap That Which He Has Sowed...

Rational Nation U S A Purveyor of Truth This weblog shares the sentiments of the author of the following open letter to PEOTUS Donald J. Trump. Bob Weidman expresses what nearly 63% of the American people are thinking tonight to one degree or another. Mr. Weidman’s open letter was published in The Huffington Post earlier this evening. Dear Mr. Trump: On the eve of your inauguration, and with all due respect to the office of the Presidency you are soon to hold, the deference you have earned, and the essential decency of the American people: Fuck you, you fucking fuck. I wish there were other words, but these are trying times, and trying times call for honesty, a concept with which you are clearly unacquainted. And I have to say what’s in my heart. So fuck you, you fucking fuck. I am not going to pretend there is anything normal about your presidency. I am not going to pretend that you are entitled to respect. You are entitled to nothing. Must admit, it's not a novel or new idea, they floated it in 2007 as well. One I am fairly certain my sons and daughters-in-law, like millions of others will have a real issue with, again. Way to go NRA, really thinking outside the same box. Politico - The National Rifle Association stunned Washington observers Friday when the group’s CEO announced a plan to install armed guards at every school in the country — its response to the Connecticut shooting last week that left 20 children dead. Wayne LaPierre called the idea the National School Shield program, which would rely on local police forces. It will be led by former Rep. Asa Hutchinson (R-Ark.). “The only thing that stops a bad ...

President Obama and the Federal Firearm Control Debate...

by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny A proper government can accomplish positive things for the society it governs. In fact the founding fathers realized this and recognized that government indeed has a role in establishing and enforcing the rule of law. Law determined to be desirable by the majority of the citizens governed by said government. Finding a proper balance between the government's authority to impose it's will on the people is the rightful domain of the governed to determine. With respect to firearm control and the President's determination to impose increased federal restrictions the nation finds itself in the middle of this debate. In as much as our government bears the responsibility to insure the general welfare and safety of it's citizens it must also guarantee it preserves the freedoms and liberties protected in the Constitution. Freedom and liberty carries with it a great and awesome responsibility. Listen to, a...
