The good news is unemployment fell to a four year low, certainly at year six in Obama's Presidential tenure strikes a positive note. Or does it? At the same time the number of people employed part time rose as well as strong indications are showing the Affordable Care Act (ACA aka ObamaCare) will have a long term negative impact on the USA economy. The following is an interesting analysis and one that certainly has some credibility. AEI - US job growth in April beat economist expectations as nonfarm payrolls rose 165,000, and the jobless rate fell to a four-year low of 7.5%. But the report contained worrisome signs that President Obama’s health care reform law is hurting full-time, high-wage employment. During my meandering through the site I came across a interesting comment post. The comment was posted in 2011 by EmperorNero . All socialist countries are poor, and all poor countries are, or have until recently been, socialist. All rich countries are capitalist, and all capitalist countries are rich. I would be interested in some counterexamples or arguments against this rule. It seems to hold true as long as we are clear what we mean by " socialism ". Clinton's Estate Taxes...

Apparently it is quite another to actually pay them, at least for Bill and Hillary. They are taking full advantage of financial strategies that benefit the top 1 percent of the nation. You know, those individuals that liberals love to hate. Well, when it seems politically expedient to do so. Don't get me wrong, personally the death tax rubs me the wrong. But really, wouldn't it make sense for those advocating hefty estate taxes to at least opt out of the very benefits you have politically and publicly been against? If one has a computer, a smart phone, a notebook, or other such equipment access to a a wealth of information and facts are available in seconds. A person only need to take the time to do a bit of searching. Unfortunately the internet has a dark side as well. Individuals with a bit of knowledge and limited computer expertise can set up a site, or multiple sites and generate a lot of misinformation, total fabrications, outright lies, engage in defamation of someones character, and do it anonymously. Brown is a moderate to liberal republican from  Massachusetts, one of the nations most liberal states. I'm content to chalk it up to the Senator finally coming to his senses. Paul Ryan, Chairman of the House Budget Committee delivered a speech to the Economic Club of Chicago highlighting the very real {and serious} fiscal issues facing America today. He was beaten by a gang of approximately twenty with pipes, paint cans and chairs. The gang left him on his front porch presumably to die . Tonight, as I read the sketchy reports of this brutal beating by a gang of approximately twenty I can't help but wonder just where the national mainstream media is hiding. I can't help but ask when Our President , who not too long ago weighed in heavily on a circumstance that resulted in the loss of life, might have some remarks on this incident.
