Awakening To Clarity and Love...

 


Looking into the mind one sees open spaciousness and luminosity's glow,
as it baths the infinite expanses of the cosmos.

Aware of the tender compassion that naturally fills the beating heart,
love flows forth, as it helps relieve the suffering of all sentient beings in samsara.

Realizing that form is emptiness, and emptiness is form,
one awakens to enlightened wisdom, understanding, and bliss all three.

Sitting on the cushion, deep in meditation's relaxed state,
the truth of non-duality arises and manifests in consciousness.

Resting in the awareness of one's own Buddha nature,
equanimity, serenity, and boundless love and compassion flow.

When the story first broke this classical liberal with libertarian leanings accepted, based on the early news reports, that George Zimmerman as guilty of a horrendous and unforgivable crime. However,as more information surfaced I began to question the veracity of the liberal contention that Zimmerman had in reality committed an act of first degree murder (my initial conclusion). Given time, and the proper reflection after new information (and opinions based on this information) surfaced it seemed, at least to this writer anyway, to step back and chill just a bit. I am laughing my proverbial arse off. After spending a fair amount of time on left,  or perhaps they would prefer the tag progressive leaning  blogs, reading the constant belittling, name calling, insulting and often vulgar characterizations of almost  anything they disagree with, which of course is everything conservative , I am not surprised to learn of a Anti Tea Party movement. Before going any further however I must be fair and balanced. There are a few lefties whose views and opinions are deserving of consideration and I would be amongst the first to advise everyone, including conservatives, to do so.
