Awakening To Clarity and Love...

 


Looking into the mind one sees open spaciousness and luminosity's glow,
as it baths the infinite expanses of the cosmos.

Aware of the tender compassion that naturally fills the beating heart,
love flows forth, as it helps relieve the suffering of all sentient beings in samsara.

Realizing that form is emptiness, and emptiness is form,
one awakens to enlightened wisdom, understanding, and bliss all three.

Sitting on the cushion, deep in meditation's relaxed state,
the truth of non-duality arises and manifests in consciousness.

Resting in the awareness of one's own Buddha nature,
equanimity, serenity, and boundless love and compassion flow.

(Wikimedia Commons/ Angr) This site is not a supporter of the mechanisms of ObamaCare and questions whether it in fact will ultimately make health care either more accessible r affordable. Except for those receiving a subsidy or are getting it free. All that aside I do agree with following Moyers & Company article stating that ObamaCare is widening the gap between red America and blue America. Something needed to be done with our health care and insurance system. Most agree that the pre ObamaCare system needed some work. Unfortunately reason failed American politics and what we have achieved is an ever more polorized country with no end to the polarization. The Losing of Iraq...

Bush made it's decision to invade Iraq ( using questionable justification it helped set up the scenario we see unfolding today. Ultimately the decision destabilized the region further, created more anti American sentiment in the region, and set up Iraq for civil strife and internal political instability. All for a cost of billions in U.S. taxpayer dollars, loss of American life, and loss of Iraqi life. Frankly given the crop of malcontents and loonies(Christie doesn't fall into that group but he has shot himself in the big toe) that seem to be getting attention in the GOP it appears unlikely.
