Iraq and the Obama Almost Strategy...

by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Purveyor of Truth President Obama, in his signature style is taking quarter measures to prevent immediate genocide by the ISIS in Iraq. Neither Obama or the western democracies are will to admit that the terrorist networks that adhere to the cult of Islam are determined to take control of the Middle East as well as the entire globe. Until they do, and take the necessary military action to crush every single one of the filthy lice ridden barbaric terrorist organizations this problem will forever be with us all. Even democratic Senator Feinstein recognizes ‘ It takes an army to defeat an army .' However she stopped short of addressing the core of the problem or offering any serious alternatives to the President's response. The Washington Post - PRESIDENT OBAMA was right to order military action to prevent a potential genocide in northern Iraq and to stop forces of the al-Qaeda-derived Islamic State from advancing on Baghdad or the...

The Final Farewell......

Image
After 10 years on Blogger it is time to say goodbye. It’s been an interesting up and down run, one that has been both fun and frustrating. In fact with so many ill-informed and hyper partisan folks out there it has even been maddening from time to time. I know our American politics have always been somewhat lively and partisan, but, I honestly don’t recall any time in my adult life that they have been as divided and nasty as they are right now. Trump bears a GREAT deal of responsibility for the rapid deterioration of civil and rational discourse over the last 3 + years. When America elected its first bi-racial President division took on a new and more sinister face. I say this not because Barack Obama actively attempted to divide our nation, I say this because the white conservative/republican/Evangelical alliance against President Obama set about to insure his Presidency would fail. You may remember the republican leadership actually verbalizing their desire to see Obama fail. Wh...

The Fringes... A Threat To The American Way Of Life

Image
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Birthplace of Independent Conservatism Liberty -vs- Tyranny When contemplating the major political parties in the United States, both democrat and republican, one need consider there are fringe elements in both. People who make up small minorities and who do not represent the views of the great majority of the American people. They are however a threat to our political and socioeconomic systems as well as our American culture and way of life. In this sense they present a danger as they are often well organized and well financed. While perusing the net late Saturday night for some interesting news items, of which there were few, the following jumped out at me. Emphasis in the following excerpt is mine. "I don't know who I'm going to vote for yet because there doesn't seem to be too many people on the horizon, but I will vote for someone whether it's a Green candidate, whether it's a communist, I don't care ... ...

Moonbats, Reporters, and MSNBC

Image
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Birthplace of Independent Conservatism One has to wonder, I mean really really wonder about the Moonbats that heavily populate the democratic party, and the progressive movement. Author and reporter David Cay Johnston has just taken Moonbattery to new heights. I mean really new heights! During an MSNBC segment with Ed Schultz {one of the moonbats} discussing Rep. Paul Ryan's Path to Prosperity deficit reduction proposal he questioned Ryan's legitimacy because he is an advocate of Rand's views. He pointed to Rand's bestseller The Fountainhead , a story about a fiercely individualistic young struggling architect  as as a reason to question Rep. Ryan's legitimacy. Of course by condensing the entire plot to a singular event in the book, without giving proper lead in and explanation, Mr. Johnston was attempting to question not only Ryan's legitimacy, but his motive and integrity as well. Excerpt  and video from The ...

A New Racist Slogan, or Not?...

Image
Rational Nation USA Purveyor of Truth Some believe the representation to be racist. Others do not. Including some African American's. “I really haven’t heard that about (the beer),” said Anna Anderson, the manager of the Union Square location, who is African-American. Many black customers and employees shrugged off the questionable undertones. “It’s a beer,” said Taryn Harris, 40. “I didn’t interpret it that way. People are slaves to whatever they like. They’re a slave to their addictions, be it food or sex. That’s how I interpreted it, as an addiction, not anything else.” What's your take? Full text BELOW THE FOLD . Via: Memeorandum
