Former President Donald Trump called President Biden's jobs plan a "monstrosity" that "would be among the largest self-inflicted economic wounds in history."

"Joe Biden’s radical plan to implement the largest tax hike in American history is a massive giveaway to China, and many other countries, that will send thousands of factories, millions of jobs, and trillions of dollars to these competitive nations," Trump said in a statement. "The Biden plan will crush American workers and decimate U.S. manufacturing, while giving special tax privileges to outsourcers, foreign and giant multinational corporations."

Not surprising as it is exactly as expected. After all tRump, is America's 5 time bankruptcy king who has bilked contractors out of millions due them over the years. So there is that,

tRump is no economist nor is he an honest man. If there was any doubt before 2015 there certainly is none now. He is a liar, a charlatan, a con man, a seditionist, an insurrectionist, and a conspiracy theorist.  That sums up his atrocious four years in a single succinct and accurate statement.

tRump was, and is, all about huge tax breaks flowing to the huge mega wealthy corporation and the uber wealthy in society. Yes he did throw a bone to the middle class but those tax rate cuts expire. Soon. The corporate ones don't expire unless the Congress passes new legislation. We're cheering President Biden on on that.

Truth is investing heavily in rebuilding our infrastructure will CREATE hundred of thousands of good paying jobs and SPUR economic activity.  Biden deserves huge kudo's for doing the RIGHT thing for America and its people. We simply can not continue to ignore our infrastructure while watching it deteriorate into complete collapse. 

We rebuilt Europe after WW II. It is beyond time we pull up our bootstraps and begin seriously rebuilding our nation's infrastructure before it does collapse. 

tRump simply does not care one iota about the nation's welfare. He's proved that time and again. Ending with Insurrection Day at the Capitol.

While the American Rescue Plan is changing the course of the pandemic and delivering relief for working families, this is no time to build back to the way things were. This is the moment to reimagine and rebuild a new economy. The American Jobs Plan is an investment in America that will create millions of good jobs, rebuild our country’s infrastructure, and position the United States to out-compete China. Public domestic investment as a share of the economy has fallen by more than 40 percent since the 1960s. The American Jobs Plan will invest in America in a way we have not invested since we built the interstate highways and won the Space Race.

The United States of America is the wealthiest country in the world, yet we rank 13^th when it comes to the overall quality of our infrastructure. After decades of disinvestment, our roads, bridges, and water systems are crumbling. Our electric grid is vulnerable to catastrophic outages. Too many lack access to affordable, high-speed Internet and to quality housing. The past year has led to job losses and threatened economic security, eroding more than 30 years of progress in women’s labor force participation. It has unmasked the fragility of our caregiving infrastructure. And, our nation is falling behind its biggest competitors on research and development (R&D), manufacturing, and training. It has never been more important for us to invest in strengthening our infrastructure and competitiveness, and in creating the good-paying, union jobs of the future.

Like great projects of the past, the President’s plan will unify and mobilize the country to meet the great challenges of our time: the climate crisis and the ambitions of an autocratic China. It will invest in Americans and deliver the jobs and opportunities they deserve. But unlike past major investments, the plan prioritizes addressing long-standing and persistent racial injustice. The plan targets 40 percent of the benefits of climate and clean infrastructure investments to disadvantaged communities. And, the plan invests in rural communities and communities impacted by the market-based transition to clean energy. Specifically, President Biden’s plan will:
