However, my take is the shift, as significant as it has been, came too late and too little. It is true if Obama loses this one progressives throughout the land will be wailing and gnashing their teeth. For them it will be a great undoing of their greatest hopes and dreams. Of course the other fifty percent of America will view it quite differently. So, as the polls close tomorrow, and the tabulating of the vote goes late into the night, we can be sure of a few thing... Looks like Trump's takeover of DOJ is raising some hackles, even among legitimate GOP types.

but there were murmurs. Before long he was assassinated by his own. Perhaps what we are seeing is
an unusual example of the 'power corrupts' paradigm. If one is already powerful, used to getting
their own way, a practiced bully totally lacking in empathy or foresight, and gets elected to the
most important position in the country, it sort of explains things. We shall see how the power
of democracy handles this affront....
It does seem more REAL conservatives, you know, the ones with respect for the rule of law, our constitution, and individual liberties are starting to speak up and out. A good thing. Hopefully it is not too little and too late.
