I think the GOP is making a mistake if they cuddle up to this guy. He's not offering anything other than boilerplate right wing positions, and he does it in a really unpleasant tone, and that's the best I can say about that.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I don't think the man could hold his own in a GOP debate with the likes of Paul, Ryan, and Cruz. They'll eat him alive and he'll never even know he was bitten.

A decent person and talented neurosurgeon Dr. Carson should retire to lecturing on his specialty in medical schools.
DeleteI do not find his tone "unpleasant", rather I find some of his beliefs and positions disagreeable.
A talented physician; a silly politician.

DeleteWe get these every cycle, don't we? An outside with absolutely no political experience or qualifications, who rides a brief crest of fame ....and broad but wafer-thin popularity....and is unburdened by political reality, and is able to speak any old way.
DeleteThe bubble bursts usually sometime before the big primaries happen, and this person vanishes completely from the landscape of political reality.
