Obama Tossed Under the Bus by General Petraeus...

As the Obama administration continues the Benghazi spin more relevant information continues to surface. It isn't at all supportive of the administration or recent CIA narrative.

The Weekly Standard - Breaking news on Benghazi: the CIA spokesman, presumably at the direction of CIA director David Petraeus, has put out this statement: "No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ”

So who in the government did tell “anybody” not to help those in need? Someone decided not to send in military assets to help those Agency operators. Would the secretary of defense make such a decision on his own? No.

It would have been a presidential decision. There was presumably a rationale for such a decision. What was it? When and why—and based on whose counsel obtained in what meetings or conversations—did President Obama decide against sending in military assets to help the Americans in need?

Can there be any doubt but what the spin from the administration will continue? Perhaps soon the nation will know the complete truth. It can't come soon enough.

    Brave people were fighting for their lives as Obama slept peacefully and then headed off to Vegas to another fundraiser.

    Barack Obama is an un-serious man for a very serious time.

    I suspect that, like with Watergate, the picture will become markedly clearer AFTER the election.

An Open Letter to My Father and Mentor

Mrs. Rational and I took our dynamo back home to Mom and Dad yesterday as he will be going with them to Myrtle Beach Friday for two weeks. Yes, he is one lucky, and very appreciative dynamo. His family is hard working and as a result he is able to enjoy some of the fruits of their labor. Since its inception on June 29th of 2009  this site has been a strong advocate  for limited  responsib le government, true liberty, and fiscally sound economic policy . The site's  Conservative Manifesto clearly spells out the principles for which it stands. It continues to stand by these principles, unequivocally.
