Republicans have decided there is to be no rebuttal to this weeks jobs speech by the President. This move is already being criticized by Nancy Pelosi. It will likely be criticized by other progressives, and possibly the lame stream media as well.
Considering the President has little to zero experience in actual jobs creation, combined with his prior flops at rejuvenating the economy, why would any sane person waste the time to rebut a broken record? The POTUS' will offer up more of the same Keynesian prescriptions that serve only to feed Leviathan and grow the already bloated statist government even more.
The American people are smart, and they will undoubtedly recognize {without a republican rebuttal} Obama's speech for what it is. Methinks the republican leadership is making exactly the correct move.
The silence of conservatives {and republicans} speaks by far louder, and yet more succinctly than words ever could.

FOX NEWS - Republicans have decided they're not going to give a rebuttal to President Obama's jobs speech later this week, a decision House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi took as a high affront to the White House.
At least three GOP lawmakers also have announced they're not going to show up for the presidential address. House Speaker John Boehner's office then confirmed Tuesday evening that nobody from the party would deliver an official televised response.
Pelosi said the party's "silence" would "speak volumes about their lack of commitment to creating jobs."
"The Republicans' refusal to respond to the president's proposal on jobs is not only disrespectful to him, but to the American people," Pelosi said.
But Boehner spokesman Mike Steel said Obama's proposals on Thursday "will rise or fall on their own merits," suggesting a GOP response was not needed.
"Republicans are, and have been, entirely focused on job creation. Every member of Congress, and -- more importantly -- the American people, will provide a reaction to the president's address," Steel said.

How do you rebut pure twaddle?
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it. The man has never created a job in his life. He's a destroyer.
The Silence is much needed for sure because the only thing left is this :

I saw Greta Van Susteren interview Nancy Pelosi once. The latter never moved her eyes and the former never moved her mouth. It was just too damned bizarre and I had to turn the channel.
ReplyDeleteThere's no rebuttal because the president is right. It's a good plan. The President wants the country to do well. Slobby, crooked Republicans only want to take the White House back next year. They couldn't care less about America.

No rebuttal because the GOP are treasonous traitors:

JMJ and TAO... YADA, YADA, YADA... Yawn
ReplyDeleteNo rebuttal really does put BHO in his place -- in the place of losing value and credibility.
