Even given this independent conservative's recent effort at a more bipartisan and conciliatory tone I find myself shocked at the following representation of progressivism. To think the left has labeled the Tea Party racist and bigoted, and FOX News partisan and biased.

Given my natural tendency to be understanding I suppose these people are merely the product of the 1960's and 70's drug induced irrational high that pervaded the era. That and the current generations reality it had to listen to the confused irrationality of the prior generation.

Frankly given the crop of malcontents and loonies(Christie doesn't fall into that group but he has shot himself in the big toe) that seem to be getting attention in the GOP it appears unlikely. Except for those receiving a subsidy or are getting it free. All that aside I do agree with following Moyers & Company article stating that ObamaCare is widening the gap between red America and blue America. Something needed to be done with our health care and insurance system. Most agree that the pre ObamaCare system needed some work. As the video will show the shift is decidedly and hugely in the direction of the very top income earners. If this continues unabated our nation is staring down the barrel of great social unrest and the upheaval that always follows. Simply put the present income distribution scenario, if it continues on its current path will result in the system collapsing on itself. One way or another. Fixing Capitalism so a much broader base of Americans can create a measure of wealth and security for themselves and their family, thus growing the American middle class once again, is not socialism or collectivism. Like the millions of law abiding citizens I am torn between the right to bear firearms and finding the point at which it makes logical sense to restrict that right.
