Mystery Man Alvin M. Greene

by the Left Coast Rebel

The Left Coast Rebel hasn't touched on the bizarre story of mystery South Carolina primary winner and (now) Democrat nominee for the Novemnber election. As strange as the story of Alvin M. Greene is (D-SC, candidate US Senate), I find him only even stranger now that he has graced the net-tube:

Awkward. Bizarre. What is Alvin M. Greene's story? He does have his own car, (9:50 on the needle):

"How are you travelling around the state?"

"Yes, I do have transportation, I have my own vehicle, yah...

"Is it new?"

"It's '03."
Good to know he has his own car, albeit he lives with his parents, is unemployed, facing a felony and otherwise.

It didn't go any better for Alvin Greene on Keith Olbermann:

Uh-yah. He's a mystery man, alright - he doesn't seem to talk. Anyone have any theories on this guy?

  1. Does he own a car or does he have ACCESS to an '03. He had to think about that long and hard. Though thought is not one of his strong suites.

I don't think he'd be worse than Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) who felt that Guam would capsize if we billeted additional Marines there.

Let's face it, he rolled the dice with $10K in the hopes of landing a job that pays $175K/year with a lifelong pension after one year. He wouldn't be subject to obamacare and could steal just about as much as he earned if he worked at. I know WHY Alvin ran for public office.

There are also the Congressional Aids - subject to sexual harassment by legislators as continual news stories suggest. He would no longer need to stalk women on a college campus.

When you think about it, Alvin is a born politician. I don't think he'd be as corrupt as Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV), at least not right away, if he became Senate Majority Leader. I don't think he's quite as smart as Reid, which is all the better. He can use the "I'm just that stupid" excuse that served Vice President Joe Biden all these years.

  2. I take a pragmatic view of all this S.Carolina stuff. Now my state of Illinois doesn't look as bad.

You have to take whatever good you can out a situation.
