John Boehner Needs to go....
by the Left Coast Rebel
.....if this is true:
In the past I have gotten the feeling that Boehner is either a 'rummy' or a smoker - his appearance kind of gives that up.MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said House Minority Leader John Boehner "is not a hard worker" and cuts out of the Capitol early for bar-hopping evenings in Washington.
On his “Morning Joe” show Wednesday morning, the former Florida Republican congressman described Boehner as a disengaged pol whose work ethic doesn’t hold a candle to that of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.).
In the least we need leadership in the conservative resurgence that is energetic, invigorated and ready to fight. Especially if the Grand Old Party takes back both houses of Congress. If that is to mean anything to the nation then in the least leadership needs to be far better than the 'cocktails at five' crowd.
Furthermore, while I'm 'going there,' John Boehner has been in office too long and was far too cozy (not to mention abetting) George W. Bush's record of profligate spending, 'No Child Left Behind, lobbyists....
Buh-bye, (hello Paul Ryan or Tom MClintock?)
Boehner is a smoker, I don't know about the rest...
ReplyDeleteI pretty much just look for results, don't care about their private lives. In fact, I'm usually suspicious of those who talk about morals and family values.
Also, we must consider that this is a sea change for most republicans who actively participated in the progressive porkapalooza of the Bush years.
The tea parties have given politicians a chance to get their minds right. I'm willing to take a wait and see approach.
I simply do not trust most in the leadership of the Republican party. In fact I question the integrity of the majority of Republicrats that are in the current congress.
ReplyDeleteI am with you Silverfiddle... A wait and see approach. Hopefully some real independent conservatives and Libertarians will get elected to office and act with resolve and integrity.
