Israel Is Correct In Rebuffing Turkish Demand For Apology

With the Muslim world (and some even in the western world including the USA) up in arms over the justified boarding if the Gaza Flotilla last week Turkey is demanding the Jewish state apologize for the deaths of nine Turkish pro Palestinian activists that occurred when the Israeli Navy took control of the Turkish Flagged  so called "Freedom Flotilla." Israel has rightfully refused to make any apology thus far and must resist any outside pressure from the USA or pro Muslim sympathizers to do so.

The state of Israel has lived under the constant threat of terror for years. Terror perpetrated by the Palestinians, Hamas, Hezbollah, The Islamic Republic of Iran, and other Jihadist terror organizations that want nothing less than the extermination the Jewish people. Israel, living this reality daily is justified in taking actions to protect it's citizens.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry believes Turkey is using last weeks incident to cut diplomatic relations with the Jewish state. Certainly something the terrorists in the Arab world no doubt welcome. The following is an except taken from HAARETZ.com :

The foreign ministry officials said that they were surprised by the request for an apology which came from Turkey's Ambassador to Washington Namik Tan, as the demand was not relayed through any other diplomatic channels.

Tan, who was Turkey's ambassador to Israel before his U.S. appointment, was known to be a supporter of Israel, the officials said.

"If he is speaking like this it is probably an official order he received from top officials in the Turkish government," an official said. "It seems that the deterioration is continuing and a complete cut in diplomatic ties is only a matter of time."

As long as terrorists in the Arab world continue their assault on the state of Israel, and extremists such as Iran's deranged President continue to call for the destruction of the nation of Israel will remain justified in taking the actions necessary to defend it's sovereignty and it's people.


The United States of America, its people, and every other free and rational thinking nation and people should be supporting not only the actions taken by Israel in self defense, but their natural right to exist in the Middle East in peace. Their neighbors so filled with Islamic hate for the Jews will not allow this to be reality.Thus the need for Israel's stance. 


Israel is justified in it's actions on the basis of self defense, and certainly justified in refusing to apologize for a situation not created by them.

    So true my friend so true. However, even in this country there are too few that will stand up and speak the truth and stand on righteousness.

    It is a sad state of affairs we are dealing with. And we have a clueless President too boot.
