Corruption In The White House

Wella, Wella, Wella. We now have confirmation the White House, yes the very one the El Presidente resides in, making the attempt to bribe Joe Sestak from running against their darling chameleon Arlen Specter in the PA. democratic primary. The bribe, a job offer in the present corrupt administration.
Here's the video confirmation of this fact.
This should really come as no surprise actually. After all the current occupant of the Oval Office is the product of one of the most corrupt political machines in the country.
What amazes me is the republicans will apparently use this to go after Sestak in the general election. It seems to me they ought to be looking at criminal charges against the administration. Remember, the fish rots starting at the head.

We are overwhelmed and that is why this will be overlooked. This is why the republican machine must be renewed if we are to have any hope in restoring the republic "peacefully." I really pray we can. God bless us even though we don't deserve it.
ReplyDeleteRattler is correct and it goes to a deeper level. The "machines" of both parties are done. They are both owned by the corporations and big money rules. Not the average Joe or Jane who believes the principles of one or the other party are what's best for America.
ReplyDeleteDamn shame. When I was younger we busted our butts getting our people elected. Now it's just go to the fundraiser and the guy that put it on get's all the clout. His purpose, both sides, was no longer good governing and taking care of the people that helped. But getting big government money for his big donators.
It was fun when little guys mattered. Now it sucks.
You're right. This really is no surprise, coming from the most corrupt administration perhaps in the history of the nation.
ReplyDeleteRattler - Unfortunately I believe you may be right. However, there is a side of me that firmly believe the Republican party can not be renewed to the original conservative principled state. It has been drifting for 25 years and there is no one, or group that currently has the ability to renew it.
ReplyDeletePerhaps we need a third strong party with principled men and women setting the vision.
I keep hoping something breaks cause the slippery slope the Republican party is on is just behind and slightly to the right of the Democrats slippery slope.
Truth - Join the Tea Party. A lot of little guys starting to make a big difference. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSilverFiddle - There may have been another. My memory tells me the Grant administration was pretty corrupt. And wasn't he a drunk as well?
ReplyDeleteThis is to Rational nation, we must renew ourselves and our families. We have to fight our own inclinations toward corruption. A third party will just become corrupt too. It's not the party, it is still about the individual american. Do not be fooled. We can still win this with strong belief (in The God of inalienable rights) and hard work... it did build an empire! It will again if we but preserve the Republic for which our flag stands!
