To steal a phrase from Disraeli, the dude's "inebriated by the exuberance of his own verbosity." And can you even begin to imagine what it would be like sitting next to him on a long plane ride? Yikes, huh?


Willis Hart, the proprietor of the big L Libertarian weblog Contra Reilly actually had the above to say the blogger (O)CT(O)PUS, a person possessing by far superior intelligence, reasoning ability, and integrity, than the rather stunted mind and character of Willis Hart.

I took the liberty of changing a few words and turning Willis' words back on him because I don't believe I've ever seen a better example of psychological projection at work in my adult life.

So, Willis, keep on keepin on...

    Hardly anyone believes in global warming. Not even the "hardcore progressives". The only ones who place in stock in this discredited theory are a subset of the "hardcore progressive" category, which would be "the dimmer ones". I read recently that RN is now a member of this elite group (other members included Octopus, Shaw and myself). :)

    That 98 percent of scientists agree is a totally bogus number, BTW.

      Dimmer? Perhaps. But as I've said many times I do not neatly fit into any mold. Especially those others attempt to design for me. and slot me into. :)

We have some Americans in our population who have difficulty speaking a coherent sentence. We have many who cannot construct a complete and proper sentence. Yet we find the time and the money to educate youth in Arabic and Arabic culture. Mind you this is a Federal Grant program and limited to only five select school districts. At least for now. At a cost of 1.3 millions dollars students on these select district will be required,  you heard {read} right, required as mandatory part of their curriculum to learn Arabic.
