Liberty -vs- Tyranny
I am not a advocate for, or supporter of Assange because he is of questionable integrity. However, having said this his captioned statement above is actually spot on. Recognizing its truism what is most critical for us to realize is most politicians, as well as those who represent them are grievously guilty of "hiding" the truth, or straight up lying.
Whether democrat or republican the reality is that both parties are responsible for stretching, and or distorting the truth. It is all too common in the worst case scenario to actual forgo the truth and feed the people outright fabrications or lies.
David Axelrod, a disciple of Plouffian politics and leftist dogma can no more be trusted for the truth than Karl Rove, the knuckle dragging Neanderthal of the false limited government republican scam.
Below is Axelrod's interview segment with Face the Nation this morning.

a question:
ReplyDeletethen why do we reward Presidents when jobs are good and he has to take blame when jobs are scarce as if he is responsiblle for it?
Contemplating...
DeleteAxelrod and Rove, what a set of loser bookends those 2 are, huh? My God, they're almost as bad a set as Pelosi and Boehner.
ReplyDeleteThanks to 100 years of progressive public schools, we no longer have an accurate conception of government. FDR put us on "war footing" back in the 1930's, and we've been on the long march ever since.
ReplyDelete"When has government ever been responsible for, or effective at, creating private sector productive jobs?"
ReplyDeleteThe GI Bill
The Interstate Highways
The Railroads
The WPA
Education, Research and Development
The government itself
The military
etc, etc, etc...
Shall I go on???
JMJ
JMJ,
ReplyDeleteSomehow I never thought of the WPA, Government itself, Military as "private sector productive jobs" but I am not as astute as you.
The all for themselves president and congress have a huge ability to stop or transfer job growth. They give millions to "clean energy" companies so they can make campaign contributions just prior to filing bankruptcy. They send Billions to Brazil to expand their oil exploration and go after US oil companies as being greedy.
The one thing that will spur growth is a comprehensive tax reform yet no party will attack that chore because if they went with a sensible consumption, Fair, simplified tax system they would lose the power to punish.
BHO doesn't like the oil companies so he will raise their taxes.
Against coal so increase taxes on them.
Against small business so increase taxes
