Over the Top, Even for Obama...

Liberty -vs- Tyranny
No longer can there be any question. President Obama has removed any doubt. He is the most narcissistic, arrogant, and unethical man who has ever occupied the Oval Office. His arrogant, almost Godlike attitude should be enough to convince the voting public to pull the lever for anybody but Obama in November.
But that's just one persons view. More interesting commentary found here, here, here, and here.
Disgusting, simply disgusting.

From Daily Caller:
Delete"Forget “we want your presence, not your presents,” the Obama campaign has a different take on tasteful this election season.
On Thursday the Obama-Biden re-election blog debuted a new option for supporters to help raise campaign cash.
“Got a birthday, anniversary, or wedding coming up?” the post asks. “Let your friends know how important this election is to you — register with Obama 2012, and ask for a donation in lieu of a gift. It’s a great way to support the President on your big day. Plus, it’s a gift that we can all appreciate—and goes a lot further than a gravy bowl.”
The registry page allows supporters to register any kind of event — the one major caveat, The Daily Caller learned while registering, is that all events must have donation goal of $50 or more."

Maybe you're right, who knows. let me hnow what you find out. I've ended my searches.
Whoever came up with this idea should be fired (and that includes Mr. Obama himself).
ReplyDelete"He is the most narcissistic, arrogant, and unethical man who has ever occupied the Oval Office-."
ReplyDeleteGet hold of yourself, man.
More unethical than the disgraced Republican President Richard Nixon? Because someone on POTUS's re-election staff came up with this fund-raising idea? I get many wedding, birthday and anniversary invitations, and have been instructed on several of them to give to a favorite charity or any cause I believe in, in lieu of a gift.
There's nothing illegal or narcissistic in this; it's a smart idea. And probably one Romeny would have used if he didn't already have the banksters and Wall Street thieves all wrapped up and in his bank account.
Will, you're over the top as well. Why should Mr. Obama be "fired" because someone on his staff came up with a clever fund-raising idea in an election where it is estimated $1 billion will be spent?
"Now watch this drive!"
But my favorite is where this guy jokes about not being able to find WMDs--the fraudulent reason for dragging this nation into a devastating war that killed 4,000+ Americans.
Man, that was a real knee-slapper.I imagine the widows and orphans thought so, too!
Obama a narcissist and arrogant? Les, he's a amatuer compared to that other guy.
You remember him, don't you? The one who couldn't think of one mistake he made as president?
I actually was going to say... "with the possible exception of Richard Nixon." But I really wanted to give you something to latch onto Shaw. And, of course since I didn't say it I give you the credit for having pointed it out. We are in agreement with that one.
DeleteHaving said that I stand by the rest. Now, were I the "Chief Executive Officer", which of course is what the 'President" is, I would have nixed the stupid , arrogant, and narcissistic brain fart right out of the shoot. But of course we all know the "President" is not all that smart, now don't we?
Shaw, I said IF Mr. Obama was involved. I highly doubt that he was and I also agree with you that Richard Nixon was infinitely worse on all accounts.
DeleteBetter than raising money from the uber rich and Wall Street.

Righto Dano... Damn, you're amazing Jersey simply amazing!
DeleteWe disagree, Les, on whether or not the POTUS is smart. But you go right ahead and continue to think he's a dummy. That'll nicely play into the DNC's plans.
ReplyDeleteNo Shaw, I didn't say he was a dummy. In fact I've said the opposite.
DeleteHe is also quite shrew and devious.
This time however he demonstrated he certainly isn't ALL that bright. This arrogant act has a lot of people turned off. As they should be.
And your speech on Alinsky was very telling. Quite eloquent in fact. For tghose who chose to believe it.
DeleteI noticed that you would not defend my defending you against anon BS tripe about me trashing you. So be it. We both know the truth but I guess pandering to the likes of that particular anon is most important. Because after all he is a Lefty.
Have a good evening.
You gotta be kidding? Who is really gaining here? You really believe the President himself came up with this? Your whole system of trying to get into power seems as corrupt as any in the world. democracy has failed if anyone hasn't noticed. Mega bucks to get a president in but no funds for the best education system , the smoothest roads and jobs that can make an entire nation proud? It's not a president who gets into power. It's the best bang for the buck and all those who put him/her there will need a kick back after the election, banks, corporations, you know those1% that no one can topple!!
ReplyDeleteSadly this is not just a local problem.
No. I'm not saying the President dreamed this thing up. I am saying he should have nixed it right out of the shoot.
DeleteAnd the whole 1% vs the 99% is garbage. Yes there are those who wish to keep us divided. The old divide and conquer thing. It is the politicians, the takers, the cronies in government and their corporate welfare buddies that keep them in power that is the biggest problem.
So people, elect a president, senators, and representatives that have the guts to make changes. People with principles that support liberty and individual freedom rather than those who want to herd everybody to the government trough so they can live of the sloth of Leviathan.
Capitalism works. If you understand where the real issues with capitalism lies. It is not with wealth creation. Rather it is with those in government that allow, in fact aid in the growth of cronyism in the system to secure and then protect their own power.
But of course it is always easier to find a scapegoat (the 1%) and create hte for that group. It worked very well for Adolf Hitler.
