Our American heritage, because it has been determined by the actions of mankind is not perfect. The vision (and promise) handed off to us by our founding fathers are timeless. It is therefore up to each generation to write it's own chapter in pursuit and furtherance of both. Each generation should, indeed must ask itself if it has left the next generation with a better, stronger nation than the one it received.

Judgement will not be kind to this one methinks.

    I'm up to the part of "The Rule of Law" and the US Constitution in Hayek's Constitution of Liberty.

    The federal government first encroached upon our right to enjoy our property as we see fit, and that opened the door for violation of all our natural rights.

April Job Numbers Appear Improved... Are They Really?

The good news is unemployment fell to a four year low, certainly at year six in Obama's Presidential tenure strikes a positive note. Or does it? At the same time the number of people employed part time rose as well as strong indications are showing the Affordable Care Act (ACA aka ObamaCare) will have a long term negative impact on the USA economy. The following is an interesting analysis and one that certainly has some credibility. AEI - US job growth in April beat economist expectations as nonfarm payrolls rose 165,000, and the jobless rate fell to a four-year low of 7.5%.
