Los Angeles Mayor Calling for Budget Cuts to Offset Occupy L.A.'s Costs to City

Perhaps a glimpse into the future of America? This complimentary view into the results of Occupy L.A. should serve as a wake up call above all else. LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The City of Los Angeles reportedly faces millions of dollars in expenses brought about by the Occupy LA movement.

City agencies have been ordered to calculate what was spent on the Occupy LA protests.

Repairs to City Hall’s lawn where the Occupy group set up camp on Oct. 1 will require an estimated $400,000. The police action to clear out the encampment on Nov. 30 cost more than $700,000.

Additional expenses are attributed to hauling away debris from the camp, and cleaning up graffiti that defaced City Hall marble walls and trees.

Mayor Villaraigosa says more budget cuts will be necessary to offset the costs.

    As a situation to create massive amounts of garbage, public health risks, and more rape, the Occupy movement is a resounding success.

Meanwhile, the number of people against Mr Trump’s removal has dropped to an all-time low, according to the  MSN poll . On Christmas Day, 40 per cent were opposed to the Senate voting to convict the president,  who has been impeached  over his dealings with  Ukraine  and an alleged subsequent attempt to obstruct congress.
