Democratic Reform Party.

I received the following email from Iron Mike over at the Rabid Republican. One of his readers left a comment on a recent blog post,  Senator Scott Brown Visits Acton. The gist of his readers comment was expressing disapproval for his parties direction under the current leadership.

Wonderful news Folks!!

If you look on RRB this morning you’ll see the entry I posted yesterday
about Scott Brown’s visit to Acton.  This morning I found a
comment left by someone named Eric – who left a long message and the website
of the Democratic Reform Party. 
Clearly there are Dems who are reviled by the Obamacrats!   These
are exactly the folks I’ve been wanting our RTCs and our candidates
to engage!!

I responded both on the web and directly from webmail.  Thus once
again I am in debt  to my friend Jim Ettwein for setting this
thing up!  Wow, - I’m breathless!  This is too good [almost]
to be true.  Whee!

I am convinced that there is a huge mass of voters – mostly
lifelong Democrats,  who are disgusted by the direction that these
new-era Progressives, Socialists, and Obamacrats have taken their party,
- - leaving them seemingly in the dust and wondering where to turn. 
This group is trying the route of a “Democratic Reform Party” in their
frustration.  We need to invite them where they really belong
– with us!

We must make them feel welcome in our midst.  We must tell them
– convince them – that every man and woman who sets an alarm clock, who
gets up and goes to work and earns an honest dollar, - is in fact a natural
member of our Republican Party.

Running web sites to entertain and console ourselves, - passing Obama
jokes between us, - and crying in our beer isn’t going to turn this country
around.  We have to confront these ObamacRATS with logic, and facts,
and point out how anti-American they really are.   But we also
have to reach out to all the solid old-fashioned Dems and let them feel
welcome amongst us.

For many we may have to use words like “Your parents were always
Democrats, and they raised you in those values and beliefs, - but if they
were still alive they’d be horrified at what is now happening in
the White House and Congress today”.

Folks, take a few minutes and go on RRB, and follow Eric’s comment to
his website.  These folks are essentially telling us how to
win their hearts and minds.  Let’s do it!

I for one have no political party affiliation but agree with Iron Mike, rational  patriotic Americans of any party need to be supported if we are to win our nation back and save our Republic.
