A Threat Within... Putin's Puppet...

A Warning for all compassionate and freedom loving Americans. Liberty is always at risk. It is most at risk when the threat is embedded in one of your own. Enter Donald J. Trump.

Rightwing Media Traitor Carlson and Trump Sycophant Legislator Josh Hawley Support putin's Unprovoked, Unjustified, and Immoral War...

We break from our standard mission to bring you the revolting behaviors of two of America's rapidly emerging traitors. Carlson in particular makes Tokyo Rose look like a saint by comparison. There’s no question about it: the Kremlin has found a group of advocates in  Fox News  and the GOP, and Russian state media mouthpieces couldn’t be more grateful. Scarcely a day goes by without a supportive mention of  Tucker Carlson  on Russian airwaves, and his open opposition to U.S. support of Ukraine—as it faces down the imminent threat from Russia—are bearing fruit. Carlson, who has been described as “practically the co-host” of state TV propagandists and “a voice of reason,” is often quoted to support official Kremlin narratives. Russian senator Alexey Pushkov claimed that the West—and not Russia—is “provoking war.” He  asserted : “This isn’t just my opinion. Prominent Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson says that the mainstream media is getting us re...

As Putin's Slaughter Continues In Ukraine...

KYIV, Ukraine — They met in high school but became a couple years later, after meeting again on a dance floor at a Ukrainian nightclub. Married in 2001, they lived in a bedroom community outside Kyiv, in an apartment with their two children and their dogs, Benz and Cake. She was an accountant and he was a computer programmer. Serhiy and Tetiana Perebyinis owned a Chevrolet minivan. They shared a country home with friends, and Ms. Perebyinis was a dedicated gardener and an avid skier. She had just returned from a ski trip to Georgia. And then, late last month, Russia invaded Ukraine, and the fighting quickly moved toward Kyiv. It wasn’t long before artillery shells were crashing into their neighborhood. One night, a shell hit their building, prompting Ms. Perebyinis and the children to move to the basement. Finally, with her husband away in eastern Ukraine tending to his ailing mother, Ms. Perebyinis decided it was time to take her children and run. They didn’t make it. Ms. Pereby...

His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Statement on The Russian Invasion of The Ukraine...

Hope for Dialogue to Restore Peace in Ukraine I have been deeply saddened by the conflict in Ukraine. Our world has become so interdependent that violent conflict between two countries inevitably impacts the rest of the world. War is out-dated – non-violence is the only way. We need to develop a sense of the oneness of humanity by considering other human beings as brothers and sisters. This is how we will build a more peaceful world. Problems and disagreements are best resolved through dialogue. Genuine peace comes about through mutual understanding and respect for each other’s wellbeing. We must not lose hope. The 20th century was a century of war and bloodshed. The 21st century must be a century of dialogue. I pray that peace is swiftly restored in Ukraine. The Dalai Lama February 28, 2022

Putin's Inanity Continues in the Ukraine as Millions Suffer...

The following report is 7 days old and the human cost of  Putin's tragic insanity has only widened and worsened . And, it is most likely going to continue to de so. Quite possibly the world will witness Putin's use of chemical and or biological weapons to inflict further maximum suffering on the Ukrainian people. The possibility of him using nuclear weapons is a remote possibility as well. The 20th century had Hitler. The 21st century has Putin. Donald J. Trump's friend and soul mate. Tricycle - As the Russian invasion of Ukraine continues to unfold, Buddhist leaders around the world are offering pleas for peace and messages of support to the Ukrainian people and those watching from afar who feel helpless but eager to take action. The growing number of civilian and military deaths are unknown, but early reports estimate  over 230 civilian deaths  so far and over 525 civilians injured. Though Russian and Ukrainian  reports on military deaths and injuries  d...

We must see that we are not separate from others, and move with compassionate action. As we witness what is happening in the Ukraine in real time, today, probably like you, I am acutely aware that the world is at risk. Hopefully, we also realize that we are not separate from the world. We might ask: How might we meet this reality of suffering and violence, seeing that we are part of it? What is our experience as we bear witness to Ukraine’s satirist turned global figure, President Zelensky, as he stands in the streets of Ukraine’s capitol in a flak jacket with othe...

3 Buddhist Principles that Can Change Our Life for the Better MARCH 26, 2018   by   GAVRIL NIKOLAEV   Every day we wake up and fall into our usual routines. But deep down we want to curl up in bed and stay there all day long, walled up from life. It’s very tempting to forget all our worries and pretend like we don’t have a job we need to go to, the bills we need to pay, or the boss we have to please. But we also know that avoiding life is not going to make our problems go away. Tomorrow they will still be there, waiting for us. Is there a secret, or rather secrets to life that can make us stronger, more resilient, and happier? Yes, there are three of them, and the Buddha realized them thousands of years ago. We don’t have to give up everything and move to a monastery to benefit from these Buddhist principles. All we need to do is to start our path of learning the Buddha’s teachings and practice them in our daily lives. #1. Buddhist Principle that States Everything ...
