This woman is actually a United States Representative and Speaker of the House? One has a difficult time figuring out whether she is just plain stupid or if she believes the American people are.

Perhaps it is both. Simply unbelievable that this women is third in line to the most powerful position in the United States.

    3 things:

    1-Maybe wacko should reveal how much spending the dems have added to the unemployment insurance bill.

    2-If the Bush admin were in power the media would be all over this failed stimulus and all the other failed policies of these money wasters.

Having a 4 year old grandson and a 1 and a 1/2 year old old granddaughter the events of today hit very close to home. A PEW Research Center report shows Americans trust in their government has become less positive and at the same time more partisan. Since 2015, opinions about the federal government’s handling of several major issues have become less positive and much more partisan. Yet majorities continue to say the government should have a “major role” on such issues as defending against terrorism and helping lift people from poverty. And views about government’s role, unlike its performance, have changed only modestly over the past two year.    Public trust in government, meanwhile, remains close to a historic low.
