First Daughter Speaks Wisely...

"I've yet to see a valid explanation and I have no reason to doubt the victims' accounts.

That  is what Ivanka Trump has said about Roy Moore's explanations with respect to allegations of sexual misconduct. The First Daughter is showing herself to be a rational and intelligent woman. Waiting until today to weigh in with such a strong statement shows maturity and character.

Is it possible Ivanka is speaking for the President as well? It makes sense that she is. Yes?

Washington (CNN) - Ivanka Trump spoke out for the first time against embattled Alabama Senate Republican candidate Roy Moore, who has been accused of pursuing sexual relationships with teenagers when he was in his early thirties. Her father, President Donald Trump, meanwhile, has largely stayed mum on the issue.

"There's a special place in hell for people who prey on children," Trump told The Associated Press in an interview otherwise focused on tax reform published Wednesday.

Yup, things are heating up for Judge Roy Moore. They're certainly are NOT moving in his favor.

  1. "shows maturity and character"

Sorry, I can't get as excited about her statement as you seem to. This is the same grown woman who stood by and supported her father's comments about "pussy grabbing" women and claiming a woman reporter must have been bleeding from a certain orifice because she asked him a question he did not like.

    1. Excited? LMAOI Only in your imagination am I excited.

Her statement does show maturity and character. The statement is made in specific reference to this issue. Non other.

Perhaps she's not being genuine with the highlighted statement. Personally I suspect she is.

    2. Her father's statements are within the same issue, sexual insensitivity and discrimination. It's disingenuous of her to support her father's past statements and denounce Moore's statements. She certainly has a political interest unlike the women who are accusing Moore. Reread your statement. Using "wisely" and saying she is showing maturity and character is expressing excitement, not to mention it ignores her support of her father's previous statements. Her two stances is expressing her feelings about the same issue, sexual discrimination.

    3. Sooty, but if you view it as excitiment, well, so be it. Excited I am not.

Donald is her father, of course she is likely to support him as she has. Maybe it is her blind spot. Perhaps she is slowly working to change dad. Who knows.

Hypocritical? Sure, won't argue that. Nevertheless her statement is what a wise and mature mindset would and should say. IMO. We'll see how it continues to play out with her.

  2. I think it's an action meant to insulate Trump from calls to make a statement/answer questions on this issue. His daughter did it so he doesn't have to. Because it would be viewed as hypocritical/invite questions re the women accusing him if he did. If that is the case, then Ivanka is simply acting as his tool, another action that contributes to her complicity in this corrupt and inept administration. I don't know why we should care what Ivanka has to say, in any case. Certainly not in her role as a part of this administration. A role she should not be occupying (rules against nepotism, which they "got around" apparently by her and her husband not receiving salaries).

  3. Moore is a sperm gurgler and shouldn’t be elected to any office
The same goes for any other of these sex perverts delivering news like O’Rilley,
As for Trumps Daughter, she’s another POS who needs to get the hell out of the WH.

  4. I would pay more attention to her comment if she gave the 16 or so female accusers of her father the same consideration. After all, his denials are no more credible than are Moore’s.

    1. That may be so Jerry, and personally I agree with you, Donald is as repulsive as Moore in this regard.

Her statement may very well be designed to provide cover for papa Trump. But then I'm reminded of this, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. I'm simply giving her credit for making a valid and true statement. It is now for the "experts" in journalism to purse her apparent and alleged hypocrisy.

    2. I agree. It is a valid and true statement in and of itself. Assigning motivations for it is just an exercise in speculation.

    3. Unless of course it's the right for the right and/or the left for the left ... then its valid in the partisans eyes.

Just making a point. Valid, supose it depends. :-)

  5. Ivanka Trump warned to stay quiet after speaking out about sexual assault allegations.

"Breitbart editor-in chief Alex Marlow said the first daughter and adviser should stay quiet..."... Either the Bretbartian is worried that Ivanka is drawing attention to the allegations against her father or it's sour grapes over Bannon getting the boot. According to Marlow, "I think that she just loves getting her name out there in the headline and they can put more photos up".
