As the Obama Administration and a Compliant Lame Stream Media Continue the Benghazi Spin...
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny From the lame stream media, no doubt fed by the not to be trusted Obama administration, we are hearing more false spin from dutiful left wing wing nuts. The Washington Post The Romney campaign may have misfired with its suggestion that statements by President Obama and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice about the Benghazi attack last month weren’t supported by intelligence, according to documents provided by a senior U.S. intelligence official. “Talking points” prepared by the CIA on Sept. 15, the same day that Rice taped three television appearances, support her description of the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate as a reaction to Arab anger about an anti-Muslim video prepared in the United States. According to the CIA account, “The currently available information suggests that the demonstrations in Benghazi were spontaneously inspired by the protests at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and evolved into a direct assault agains
It's Going To Be Close, Brace Yourself For Continued Polarization of America, Especially if Obama Loses...
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny The race is close, very close, with the momentum shifting to Romney. However, my take is the shift, as significant as it has been, came too late and too little. Progressives no doubt are biting their nails because as much as they prefer not to acknowledge it, this one is a real cliff hanger. Reminiscent of 2000. It is true if Obama loses this one progressives throughout the land will be wailing and gnashing their teeth. For them it will be a great undoing of their greatest hopes and dreams. Of course the other fifty percent of America will view it quite differently. So, as the polls close tomorrow, and the tabulating of the vote goes late into the night, we can be sure of a few thing... The nation will remain polarized, the puppet masters behind the curtains will continue calling the shots, the debt and deficits will continue, no mater who wins. And America will continue to ask why. Tomorrow, as I visit my polli
Another Republican Accused Of Sexual Misconduct...
David French had the following to say regarding Roy Moore and his alleged sexual misconduct 40 years ago. Conservatives, be careful. Don’t dismiss the claims. While I don’t know if the allegations are true, I’m deeply troubled on a number of grounds. First, these women didn’t seek out the press. According to the Post report, its reporters reached out to them after hearing that “Moore allegedly had sought relationships with teenage girls.” So far as we know, they weren’t put forward by the opposing campaign, and the woman who made the most serious allegations against Moore says that she voted for Trump in 2016. None of the women have donated to Moore’s primary or general-election opponent. Second, if you read the report, it includes validation from a number of witnesses who say that they were aware of the relationships at the time. While this isn’t proof of guilt of course, it bolsters the credibility of the accusers. Third, the youngest accuser’s explanation for her decision n

The "Scandal" That Won't Go Away...
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Lib erty -vs- Tyr anny CBS - Obama administration officials who were in key positions on Sept. 11, 2012, acknowledge that a range of mistakes were made the night of the attacks on the U.S. missions in Benghazi, and in messaging to Congress and the public in the aftermath. The officials spoke to CBS News in a series of interviews and communications under the condition of anonymity so that they could be more frank in their assessments. They do not all agree on the list of mistakes and it's important to note that they universally claim that any errors or missteps did not cost lives and reflect "incompetence rather than malice or cover up." Nonetheless, in the eight months since the attacks, this is the most sweeping and detailed discussion by key players of what might have been done differently. "We're portrayed by Republicans as either being lying or idiots," said one Obama administration official who was part
Illinois Democrats Move To Tighten Firearm Regulation/Restrictions...
by: Les Carpenter Rational Nation USA Liberty -vs- Tyranny As the country struggles to understand, and come to grips with random acts of firearm violence by unstable and unbalanced individuals Illinois is already taking action to further regulate firearms. Like the millions of law abiding citizens I am torn between the right to bear firearms and finding the point at which it makes logical sense to restrict that right. In a modern society in which the tools of warfare are advanced beyond what the founders could possibly have envisioned, and the efficiency of modern armies are such that the citizens would stand no reasonable chance against the modern army, does the possession of semiautomatic assault weapons have any real purpose for the homeowner and sportsman? If deemed they do should they not be highly regulated and restricted to HELP reduce the incidents of tragedies like Sandy Hook? I certainly do not have the answers, nor do I believe the anti-gun crowd has the answers eith
Democrats Bought By Special Interest Money, and They Say It's All Republicans...
Rational Nation USA Purveyor of Truth We'll start with the thing that will catch your attention, as is the way: Democrats who voted for the giant spending bill on Thursday night received, on average, twice the campaign contributions from the finance/insurance/real estate industry as their colleagues who voted against it. Yes folks, it's true. Money talks, regardless of party affiliation. And so we continue witnessing the purchase of influence by the wealthy and powerful. Does this register? Does it tell us anything? Should it tell us anything? Or do we simply go along to get along and be thankful things are as they are? It seems worth questioning what we view as our biggest national domestic problems. READ THE FULL WASHINGTON POST ARTICLE . Via: Memeoandum UPDATE : JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon made calls to lawmakers on Thursday urging them to support the “cromnibus” spending bill... Dimon's involvement came amid progressive outrage that the House cromnib
The Public's Trust In Government on the Decline...
A PEW Research Center report shows Americans trust in their government has become less positive and at the same time more partisan. Since 2015, opinions about the federal government’s handling of several major issues have become less positive and much more partisan. Yet majorities continue to say the government should have a “major role” on such issues as defending against terrorism and helping lift people from poverty. And views about government’s role, unlike its performance, have changed only modestly over the past two year. Public trust in government, meanwhile, remains close to a historic low. Just 18% say they trust the federal government to do the right thing “just about always” or “most of the time” – a figure that has changed very little for more than a decade. And while more Republicans say they trust the government today than did so during the Obama administration, just 22% of Republicans and even fewer Democrats (15%) say they trust the government at least most of th
Drain the Swamp and Dump Its Lerader In 2020...
May 28, 2020-The Lincoln Project’s latest ad released today shows that U.S. Senate Majority Leader and senior senator from Kentucky, Mitch McConnell, made tens of millions of dollars since he was first elected to office. Meanwhile, Kentucky ranks 40th in job opportunity in the nation, 45th in education, and 43rd in health care. “I’m a conservative lawyer of the type that McConnell has prided himself for putting on the bench. But precisely because I’m a conservative lawyer, I believe most fundamentally in the Constitution and the rule of law,” said Lincoln Project co-Founder George Conway. “When he fixed the impeachment trial by blocking evidence of Trump’s high crimes and misdemeanors, McConnell violated and abased the solemn oaths he took as a United States Senator. Add in the fact that, as our ad shows, he’s managed to do much better for himself than for the people of Kentucky, and it becomes a no-brainer: McConnell has to go.” It is most critically important that we DUMP TRU

DeletePlease go back to the Daddy blog and spread your ignorance there
The above comment was stolen from my blog. It was my comment. APP is a stupid troll who was born in the petri dish of the Daddy blog.
DeleteWhy thank you very much JBG. Coming from you that is a platinum compliment.
ReplyDeleteNice to see that you escaped from the Stench Trench, aka The Smut Hut and took the time to stop by. Give my best to inmates when you return.
Buh Bye...

DeleteWhatever. The lounge for idle pointless chatter Can be found over at lisa's place.
DeleteMitch McConnell has admitted that Donald Trump knows very little about the serious issues facing this country, and he has said Trump needs to choose a veep who's smarter than Trump. Really. That's the majority leader of the US Senate telling America that Trump is unqualified to be president. He also said Trump should use the teleprompter more often so that he doesn't say things that get him in trouble. IOW, so that a prepared speech by someone else masks what a foul-minded demagogic know-nothing Trump truly is.
ReplyDeleteThe two former Bush presidents as well as Mitt Romney and other conservative political luminaries who believe in principles and not just party loyalty will not be voting for Trump. It is shameful that the majority leader of the Senate and the Speaker of the House haven't the courage of other principled conservatives.
When you have the bigots, misogynists, anti-Semites, pornorgraphers and low-lifes from the Stench Trench vigorously supporting Trump, it confirms our opinion of what a repulsive reptile Trump truly is.
The chump will never become head of ST8 or make America GRR8. H8 has sealed his F8. Too L8. He'll never get another D8. How many legs does a cephalopod have?
ReplyDeleteDonald Trump's lack of familiarity and understanding of the issues facing the nation is troubling to say the least. Combined with his xenophobia, extreme nationalism, apparent lack of regard for the rule of law, and what appears to be a tendency towards white supremacy he is indeed unfit to be the president of the United States of America, IMNHO.
ReplyDeleteThat aside, he is not stupid (neither were Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Peron, etc.), just very misguided. Because it is possible Trump could be elected we should all hope he picks a very knowledgeable veep and surrounds himself with smart people that will not be afraid to criticize him when he needs. Which, as we know, is likely to be quite often.
There are I am sure many good decent folks supporting Trump. While I personally cannot understand why, given the abundance of data that leads me to believe he is unqualified for the presidency, many others think differently.
Some folks at lisa's Lunacy Lounge are simply what they are. And we both know what that is.
Ha. Lunacy Lounge? So far the Daddy blog has a number of alternate names: "The Stench Trench," "The Smut Hut," "The Skank Tank," "The Sh*t Pit," and now the "Lisa's Lunacy Lounge." And two escapees from Lisa's Lunacy Lounge are stinking up the place.
DeleteAs much as the folks at the Lunacy Lounge claim they want to discuss issues they don't. Unless those who actually understand what discussion is AGREE . If with their line or reasoning. If you don't agree you are labeled a commie.
DeleteHaving said the above, there are liberal sites guilty of the same type MO.
I'll slow a certain level of stinking the place up here. A low level.

DeleteRN... Why are some people, like MC, and people on the felt also, unable, or unwilling to talk cogently about the complex issues we face today?
ReplyDeleteInstead we get hyperbole, swearing and word salad thoughts.
I don't know Dave. Lack of curiosity? Lack of depth? Perfectly happy in their comfort zone? Uncomfortable with new information? They are sheeple following along happily? All of the above?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing many are intelligent people who are simply locked in their old paradigms and feel threatened whenever their positions are called into question.
