Trump To Attempt Explaining Away Past Controversies...

Rational Nation USA
Purveyor of Truth

According to a report in The Washington Post presumptive GOP presidential nominee is planning to rehabilitate his battered image in the coming weeks by publicly addressing head-on some of the most controversial episodes of his campaign, Now there's an event one can barely wait for. Mr. Trump explaining away his many questionable and quite often offensive statement. This is one you certainly don't want to miss. Just be sure to have an ample supply of popcorn and beer on hand. It's bound to be a Really Great Show.

Hopefully we receive some data on how many gullible people actually buy his explanations. Other than those who have already bought his gibberish.

Trump

Trump put his tact to a test during an interview with The Washington Post here Monday afternoon. Unprompted, he delivered a five-minute soliloquy attempting to explain himself for making wild arm and hand gestures at a rally last November to discredit New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski. The act was widely seen as mocking the journalist’s physical disability and has been featured in numerous ads and videos designed to savage Trump.

“I would never say anything bad about a person that has a disability,” Trump said, leaning forward at his office desk. “I swear to you it’s true, 100 percent true.. . .Who would do that to [the] handicapped? I’ve spent a lot of money making buildings accessible.”

Trump then satirically reenacted the scene, his arms jerking all around, and said he was trying to show “a guy who grovels — ‘Oh, oh, I didn’t say that. I didn’t say that.’ That was the imitation I was doing.”

“Now,” he concluded, “is that a believable story?”

Whether voters believe it could help determine if Trump can overcome a staggering popularity deficit with the general electorate, especially among women. Trump and his advisers know that improving his standing with white women in particular may be the key to defeating likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in battleground states such as Ohio and Virginia.

Take it away Mr. Trump. The nation anxiously awaits your explanations.

  1. Melania Trump wants to be clear: Her husband, Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, is "not Hitler."

“We know the truth. He’s not Hitler.

Oh WOW! Thank you Melania! We're all so relieved that Donnie isn't Hitler! So nice of you to assure us that your overweight idiot husband isn't Hitler. That makes us happy.

And your husband has assured us all that because you have lovely huge tatas, you're going to be the GREATEST First Lady. You'll be the best First Lady with the biggest breasts! Yay America!

The Trumps will bring "class" to the Whitish House.

  2. Nice copy and paste APP.

Furthermore there is plenty of childish triteness happening in the 2016 GOP campaign for the nomination by the presumptive frontrunner to keep us all chuckling.

My guess is Melania Trump would do fine as a First Lady. Other than that this weblog doesn't give a bunnies behind about Mrs. Trump. The candidate is the issue.

  3. "A Proud Progressive" copied that comment from someone at my blog who calls him/herself "The Wank Files." APP has been copying and pasting from my blog for weeks now. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that "A Proud Progressive" is probably one of Lisa's suck-up boyfriends, either Radical Redass or Rusty Chucklenuts. No progressive would ever do such a stupid childish thing, but Lisa's lap dogs are famous for stealing people's IDs and comments. It takes a special sort of meathead to spend its time doing this. But just remember that whoever this fake "Proud Progressive" is, he or she has some serious mental problems. So have some pity for the poor idiot. (There's even a "fake" fake "A Proud Progressive" floating around. What a world.

As for your post, RN, it will be interesting to see how Trump wiggles out of owning up to his own words. We know he's a liar because he's constantly being fact-checked, and we know he's insulted everyone on the planet except his wife and children . He's really a piece of work. He's also the most disliked candidate to ever run for the presidency.

  4. Trump met with Kissinger, the 'senior foreign policy expert'. We suspect
they discussed Angie Dickenson's attributes and why Cambodia should be
    invaded again.
