Donald Trump and Another Fictitious Claim...

Rational Nation USA
Purveyor of Truth

Donald Trump, perhaps one of the least honest bloviating blowhards in the 2016 republican presidential fields adds to his list of fear mongering lies. His recent claim that thousands and thousands of Muslin in Jersey City cheered on 911 when the World Trade Center came down is a flat out lie.

All of us are aware that Islamic jihadist in the middle east cheered when the WTC collapsed, but there is absolutely no truth to the statement made by Trump. The Donald is playing the politics of fear as he appeals to the low intelligence and low information people who flock to hear his BS. For the Donald it is not about truth, it never gas been. Rather it all abut the Art of the Deal and winning, no matter what it takes.

Donald Trump lacks the ethical standards the howler monkeys claim Obama lacks. Yet when Mr. Lying Trump spews his BS the low intelligence and low information folks not only look the other way they swear he's telling the truth and hi poll numbers climb a bit more.

The Donald has shown he lacks the ethical and moral standards to lead our nation. As the democratic party machinery and H.R. Clinton consider the possibility of facing Trump in the general they must be salivating at the prospects.

Finding myself thinking of an acronym to describe The Donald's character it took all of one second, POS.

From The Washington Post

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: You raised some eyebrows yesterday with comments you made at your latest rally. I want to show them, relating to 9/11.

STEPHANOPOULOS: “You know, the police say that didn’t happen and all those rumors have been on the Internet for some time. So did you misspeak yesterday?”

TRUMP: “It did happen. I saw it.”

STEPHANOPOULOS: “You saw that…”

TRUMP: It was on television. I saw it.

STEPHANOPOULOS
: “…with your own eyes?”

TRUMP: “George, it did happen.”

STEPHANOPOULOS: “Police say it didn’t happen.”

TRUMP: “There were people that were cheering on the other side of New Jersey, where you have large Arab populations. They were cheering as the World Trade Center came down. I know it might be not politically correct for you to talk about it, but there were people cheering as that building came down — as those buildings came down. And that tells you something. It was well covered at the time, George. Now, I know they don’t like to talk about it, but it was well covered at the time. There were people over in New Jersey that were watching it, a heavy Arab population, that were cheering as the buildings came down. Not good.”

STEPHANOPOULOS: “As I said, the police have said it didn’t happen.”

— Exchange on ABC’s “This Week,” Nov. 22, 2015

This column has been updated.

This exchange demonstrates the folly of trying to fact-check Donald Trump. Even when confronted with contrary information — “police say it didn’t happen” — he insists that with his own eyes he saw “thousands and thousands” of cheering Arabs in New Jersey celebrating as the World Trade Center collapsed during the Sept. 11 attacks.

Trump has already earned more Four-Pinocchio ratings than any other candidate this year. He is about to earn another one.

  1. The Trump supporters over at the Stench Trench will be happy to know that an ABC News/Washington Post poll reported that less educated voters love Trump the most. You may want to report this to the Radical Rusty Redasses who populate the blog that promotes pornography, racism, misogyny, and anti-Semitism. On second thought, never mind. They won't be able to understand something as complicated as that.

They might understand it but even if they do you know they will deny it.

The Stench Trench certainly does have many sewer line commenters that flock to the site for their shot of adrenalin to fuel their racism, misogyny, and anti-Semitism.

The Stench Queen's post today is essentially a attempt as justifying their bigotry with respect to President Obama. Of course my response will help fuel more their bigoted rage further exposing their true nature.

What pisses these folks off is they see their world changing and they can't deal with it. Trump knows that and he is using them to serve his interests. They may be less educated but Trump actually is not.
He is fueling a fire that may spin out of control should he win his party's nomination and go on to win the general.

Should Trump become president our nation may very well experience a very dark period in its history, perhaps one of the darkest.

At this point with me it has become any Democrat other than Trump. Similar to how I really wanted the Democrat Edwin Edwards, whatever his warts, to win against David Duke in that one election. And this time it is dire enough that I probably would not "throw my vote away" on the Libertarian.

    2. If Trump decides he "isn't being treated fairly", which translates getting his way, and makes the leap to an independent run ss he recently reiterated I might vote Libertarian, depending on who the candidate is.

If he ends up with the GOP nomination my vote will be cast for the democratic nominee. The #1 priority is to stop Trump. Actually, the same applies should the nominee be Carson, Cruz, Bush, or Rubio.

  3. Okay, here's an example of when personal anecdotes have real meaning. I'm from Northeast New Jersey. My wife was a high school teacher in Jersey City when that awful day happened. I had been living and working in the vicinity for years. My brother lived in the vicinity, and ran a business in Hoboken, right up the street at the time. My closest friend for years managed a bindery at night in Jersey City, staffed by south Asian immigrants, right over by the Holland Tunnel. My pot guy at teh time lived in the middle of Jersey City. Many of my friends and coworkers lived in Jersey City, or Bayonne, or Secaucus, or Union City, all right there about. What Trump says happened DID NOT HAPPEN. I would have heard about it.

  4. When fellow crackpots challenge your Tweets, you know you’ve had a bad day. Here’s Billo-Really challenging his stats, and here was the Dumpster’s reply:

"Hey, Bill, Bill, am I gonna check every statistic?

It tells ya something: How NOT to run a campaign or a country.

  5. "What Trump says happened DID NOT HAPPEN."

Trump is a classic demagogue: Definition: "a political leader who seeks support by appealing to popular desires and prejudices rather than by using rational argument."

I heard him interviewed by George Stephanopolous by phone this past Sunday, and Trump avoided the question about the New Jersey Muslims "cheering" on 9/11. He talked over Stephanopolous, rambled on about other subjects, but insisted that "thousands and thousands" of Muslims cheered when the towers fell. A disgusting lie.

In response, Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop said Trump "has memory issues or willfully distorts the truth, either of which should be concerning for the Republican Party."

"Trump is plain wrong, and he is shamefully politicizing an emotionally charged issue. No one in Jersey City cheered on September 11th," Fulop said. "We were actually among the first to provide responders to help in lower Manhattan. Trump needs to understand that Jersey City will not be part of his hate campaign."

Trump may be "smart" in that he knows how to manipulate his followers, but he's also a demagogue, and a dangerous bigot as well.

  6. Lets hope Trump has many more bad days of this kind (O)CT(O)PUS. Maybe the crackpos with more sanity than Trump will have an effect on his supporters and over the next several months the bloviàting blowhard's airbag will become completely deflated. We can hope anyway. <{:-)>

  7. Yes Shaw Trump is an American demagogue. Certainly there have been others but he is the worst thus far of the 21st century. His laziness in checking facts and disinterest in honesty and ethical behavior, combined with his bigotry does make him a dangerous one. That reportdly 30% of the GOP registered voters like and approve of him is puzzling to me. I am just glad it isn't more. The good of course is he won't be president. I imagine the H.R. Clinton camp is salivating over a face off with him in the general! The debates will be a riot should this happen; HRC will have him for dinner.

    1. Watch Trump get in some bone headed and sexist zingers during such a debate with Hillary and also demand another 6% of the populace get registered/banned/deported/interned.

And that 30% you mention will raise their pitchforks and torches high.
