Here's one that's bound to entertain you. The Nuge and the Stooge.

For those who are a hankerin for some politics Sarah style she had this bit of advice for the GOP.
LAS VEGAS — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin declined to speculate on a potential 2016 run Thursday at the 2015 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, but she did offer the GOP some free political advice. We caught up with Palin as she was promoting the second season of her show, “Amazing America,” which airs on the Sportsman Channel Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET. “I’m not going to talk politics except to say the GOP had better go on offense. Man, they are not going to win any game on defense,” she told TheBlaze. “Being in the majority there in D.C. — we’re blowing it if we just bend our back.” She added, “That GOP leadership, that establishment, they’ve got to get their stuff together. I love what they believe in, I believe in it too. But they’ve got to get tough, man. You know what? It’s not just the New England Patriots who are dealing with deflated balls right now.”
Now for some more from the GOP side show.

  3. Shouldn't she be talking about her deflated neurons and ganglia?

  4. Palin's obnoxious but then, so, too, are a lot of her sanctimony-laced critics. I try to tune all of it out.

Especially the ones who used her wearing boots as a major part of their criticism.

    1. Ummm. yeah. Without even trying, I find conservative web sites that love Palin, including every recent move.

  6. She was less ridiculous in 2008, when she was no less qualified than the guy at the top of the Democratic ticket then.

But what has she done since? Quit her highest elected job, and lived a live of publicity and celebrity. She's not going much of anywhere.

    1. :| You think Sarah Palin was just as qualified as Barack Obama? Wow.

    2. She was, quite objectively, in 2008. Palin had more executive experience, and Obama's senate career was noted by him doing little and being too lazy to vote much of the time.

Compare the Senate career of Chris Dodd, who also ran then, to Obama's. It is like night and day.

    3. I give Obama the edge in qualifications in 2008.

    4. I'll concened your point and rephrase. Palin lacked the intelligence and gravitas to be VP in 2008 and she sure as hell lacks the intelligence and gravitas to be president. Which btw is exactly why she will never be president.

    5. And she's certainly much worse in hindsight, and over time.

  7. She is and was unqualified for both the job of VP and president.

She has marketed her brand well, designed for consumption by those who live by the best sounding sound bite and or cliche.

She says nothing of any consequence and the Teapot Tea Party thinks she is a genius.

And you are correct dmark, there isn't enough Teapot tea leaf readers and tea drinkers for her to go anywhere.

    1. Just that at the time of the 2008 election, Palin was no less qualified than the guy at the head of the other ticket, who shared with her the dubious distinction of having just about the thinnest resume and least accomplishments of any in that race.

But after 2008, one made their resume an embarrassment. The other stuck to his job, and enhanced his resume.

  8. With all due respect, you two know absolutely nothing about the main stream Republican party.
You watch too much cable news that feature the crack pots like Gohmert,Palin and Lee just to garner ratings.

There are only about 25 tea party members in the house and two in the senate. The party pays no attention to those crack pots and they yield no power.

    1. Rusty: Interrestingly, the hard-core progressives in Congress, last time I checked, were roughly similar in number to the Tea Party.. And certainly no less loopy.

  9. We'll see Shackelford how much influence the Teapot T-Pee'ers will have. Green Eggs and Ham Cruz and Rubio are two to watch. Gohmert is a real sideshow.

  10. Rusty, she was recently given a 35 minute speaking slot at the big Iowa pre Presidential conference. Apparently some in the main stream GOP still consider her important.

At least they did until she unlaced a speech even conservatives found incoherent.

  11. "The party pays no attention to those crack pots and they yield no power."

Well, there's the problem right there.

  12. Dave...you confuse "mainstream" with "fringe." Big difference.

  13. RS, I believe Dave pretty much nailed it.

  14. I don't dislike her as much as many here do, but yes Dave M., as, he so often does, nails it.

  15. Yes, you would RN. Proves my point about your lack of knowledge about the Republican party. You painting all Republican as Tea Party advocates shows your ignorance of conservatives.

    1. Shackelford this is a serious conversation. You are free to thank whatever you may like. However, I have never painted ALL republicans as Teapot Tea Party advocates. Only those who are.

      So, whose the ignorant one?

      See Ya...

  17. This is the best and fairest article that's ever been written on Ms. Palin. I strongly suggest that both sides read it - http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2011/06/the-tragedy-of-sarah-palin/308492/
