    I think the GOP is making a mistake if they cuddle up to this guy. He's not offering anything other than boilerplate right wing positions, and he does it in a really unpleasant tone, and that's the best I can say about that.

    Also, I don't think the man could hold his own in a GOP debate with the likes of Paul, Ryan, and Cruz. They'll eat him alive and he'll never even know he was bitten.

      A decent person and talented neurosurgeon Dr. Carson should retire to lecturing on his specialty in medical schools.

      I do not find his tone "unpleasant", rather I find some of his beliefs and positions disagreeable.

      We get these every cycle, don't we? An outside with absolutely no political experience or qualifications, who rides a brief crest of fame ....and broad but wafer-thin popularity....and is unburdened by political reality, and is able to speak any old way.

      The bubble bursts usually sometime before the big primaries happen, and this person vanishes completely from the landscape of political reality.

The good news is unemployment fell to a four year low, certainly at year six in Obama's Presidential tenure strikes a positive note. Or does it? At the same time the number of people employed part time rose as well as strong indications are showing the Affordable Care Act (ACA aka ObamaCare) will have a long term negative impact on the USA economy. The following is an interesting analysis and one that certainly has some credibility. AEI - US job growth in April beat economist expectations as nonfarm payrolls rose 165,000, and the jobless rate fell to a four-year low of 7.5%.
