S. Palin Calls for Obama's Impeachment...

It is now beyond any doubt. Alaska's half term governor and failed 2008 Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin is certifiable. Lost her marbles. Flew over the cuckoos nest.

With her Mama Mouse intellect and an American flag waving she has declared it is time to impeach President Obama. No doubt Palin's fellow travelers in the ozone layer of politics are as gleeful of the thought of impeaching America's first bi-racial president as she is.

The women who can "see Russia from her porch", and likely knows less about the constitution than the moose she shares Alaska with, penned a letter calling for the President's impeachment. It was published in Breitbart.

Without borders, there is no nation. Obama knows this. Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America. It’s the only promise he has kept. Discrediting the price paid for America’s exceptionalism over our history, he’s given false hope and taxpayer’s change to millions of foreign nationals who want to sneak into our country illegally. Because of Obama’s purposeful dereliction of duty an untold number of illegal immigrants will kick off their shoes and come on in, competing against Americans for our jobs and limited public services. There is no end in sight as our president prioritizes parties over doing the job he was hired by voters to do. Securing our borders is obviously fundamental here; it goes without saying that it is his job.

The federal government is trillions of dollars in debt; many cities are on the verge of insolvency; our overrun healthcare system, police forces, social services, schools, and our unsustainably generous welfare-state programs are stretched to the max. We average Americans know that. So why has this issue been allowed to be turned upside down with our “leader” creating such unsafe conditions while at the same time obstructing any economic recovery by creating more dependents than he allows producers? His friendly wealthy bipartisan elite, who want cheap foreign labor and can afford for themselves the best “border security” money can buy in their own exclusive communities, do not care that Obama tapped us out.

Have faith that average American workers – native-born and wonderful legal immigrants of all races, backgrounds, and political parties – do care because we’re the ones getting screwed as we’re forced to follow all our government’s rules while others are not required to do so. Many now feel like strangers in their own land. It’s the American worker who is forced to deal with Obama’s latest crisis with our hard-earned tax dollars while middle class wages decrease, sustainable jobs get more scarce, and communities become unrecognizable and bankrupted due to Obama’s flood of illegal immigration.

Who’s looking out for the American workers? Who has their backs? Who fights for them?

We should.

President Obama’s rewarding of lawlessness, including his own, is the foundational problem here. It’s not going to get better, and in fact irreparable harm can be done in this lame-duck term as he continues to make up his own laws as he goes along, and, mark my words, will next meddle in the U.S. Court System with appointments that will forever change the basic interpretation of our Constitution’s role in protecting our rights.

It’s time to impeach; and on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment.

The many impeachable offenses of Barack Obama can no longer be ignored. If after all this he’s not impeachable, then no one is.

America's far right is making a mockery of politics as well as the principles on which our democratic republic was founded. For 5 and 1/2 years the republican party and it's TP (toilet paper) Wing has forced gridlock and I'm one American, likely among millions, who are sick and tired of the sh*t.

  1. Obama and Perry are meeting down in Texas and that's a positive sign and example of just how the system is supposed to work. Kudos to both.

  2. Sarah who? Oh, you know, the person John McCain and the entire GOP claimed was eminently qualified to be one heartbeat away from the presidency.

  3. That was then, S.K. When her paperthin resume was matched by Obama's, in 2008.

A lot has changed since then. She trashed her resume. Obama strengthened his.

  4. Palin is also wrong to paint the immigrants as barefoot freeloaders. Most come here to work... and they get jobs by being good at them. And they eat, consume, need housing... all of which creates jobs to fill their needs.

  5. At least Palin is a little more masculine than Dennis Kucinich, another impeachment standup comic from several years ago.

    1. Here's my take on that... Dennis Kucinich has a lot more upstairs and Sarah Palin has fine physical feminine attributes.

I just read a report that 54% of Americans wish she would tone things down a bit. Both independents and democrstes are well above 50% and republicans are 40%. I'm guessing if she continues to babble that 40% is certain to rise.

But hey, she has Hannity, Beck, and Levin in her fan club.

    2. RN: I read Kucinich's impeachment claims against GWB. It was rather vapid and illogical. Not good for his reputation (if he had one) of being smart.

  6. A campaign slogan "A scope on every rifle-a moose in every pot" may play to the base here.

  7. Yes, but isn't it 54%? Not unanimous. Besides, she has the right to continue providing comic relief. And does the left really want the PC label attached to it does it?

  8. With Obama plummeting in polls and becoming less popular than GWB, perhaps the proportion of Americans who would want Obama to obey Shaw's crude command isn't that dissimilar to those who want Palin to do this.

    1. "Obama is now as unpopular as Bush" is what the article linked to above says. It doesn't say our 44th president is "becoming less popular than GWB". I read the whole article and it contains no wording at all concerning where his poll numbers may go in the future. It says nothing about "becoming", yet the commenter above deceptively made those words his link, suggesting that the article DID say something about "becoming".

In any case, uninformed people blame Obama for Republican obstruction. THAT is the reason for the low poll numbers. There are a LOT of uninformed people. Also, as Shaw pointed out on her blog, the former president tanked the economy and the current president cleaned up his mess. And 43 is also responsible for our country's worst foreign policy blunder ever. This is how 43 will be remembered, and this is how 44 will be remembered.

  9. In any case, uninformed people blame Obama for Republican obstruction.

True to a large extent. However, To say THAT is the reason for the low poll numbers. is also largely conjecture and opinion on your part.

There are many intelligent, insightful and informed people who do not hold with much of Obama's political philosophy or agenda. Perhaps that also figures in the lower poll numbers.

    1. RN: It is extreme arrogance to confuse intelligent dissent and disagreement on political issues with being "uninformed", of course.

  10. We will never know what Obama's poll numbers would be *if* he had a Congress that worked with him and compromised, will we? So, yes, I "conjecture" (in agreement with this guy). Yet it cannot be disputed that the Congressional Republicans have NOT worked with him or attempted to compromise.

I didn't say anything in regards to "intelligent dissent and disagreement on political issues". I was referring strictly to people who are uninformed and blame Obama for what we could not do thanks to Republican obstruction.

  11. Obama's poll numbers would have surely been worse had he been able to do more ofwhat he wanted: new endless war in Libya and Syria... people clobbered by the tax hikes he wanted, angry workers who would have lost the secret ballot in union elections, much more crony capitalism and bigger Solyndra scandals, more and bigger job killing, debt busting stimulus, bigger Obamacare with more people losing insurance, Eric Holder running amok with more gunrunning scandals, etc.

Without opposition to obstruct some of his unpopular and disastrous ideas from blossoming, he might have lost in 2012.

  12. What the commenter above said is bad conjecture. And I would strongly disagree that Obama "wanted" to do several of those things. A couple aren't even real things. There never was a "gunrunning scandal", a "Solyndra scandal", nor did anyone lose insurance because of ObamaCare. Many gained it. And making it easier for people to join unions would have caused working folks to cheer. My conjecture is that Obama's poll numbers would be the some of the highest of any president in modern times if more of his very good ideas had been allowed to "blossom".

  13. 1) - Fast and Furious, many continue to believe it was a scandal. Likely they will never know for sure.

    2) Solyndra, Many believe wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on an ill fated venture is a scandal.

    3) Many did lose their insurance when the policies they were perfectly happy with were not renewed because they didn"t meet ACA criteria. Millions more saw increases.

Differences of opinion and the world continues to rotate on it axis.

50 years from now few will even care about this stuff DS.

  14. [1] Agents in the field office decided to continue a bush era program and it didn't work out as planned. The objective was to catch gunrunners, not engage in gunrunning. If that had been the case someone would have been charged and gone to jail. Nobody has, to my knowledge. [2] It is normal and expected for a small percentage of these loans to fail. This was a high profile failure, but the percentage of failures is still low. Since this is normal and expected, no money was "wasted". [3] ObamaCare contains within it a provision that says old plans that do not meet the new requirements can be grandfathered in so long as no NEW changes are made. The insurance companies made further changes and thus the plans could no longer be grandfathered. Further changing the plans was a decision made by the insurance companies and thus cannot be blamed on the ACA. The increases were due to these people having to buy plans that provide significantly better coverage. That, or they allowed themselves to be scammed by their insurers, which (IMO) was the whole point of making the changes. The insurers lied and blamed the ACA, then attempted to push the customer into a higher priced plan (when they could have shopped around on the exchange and gotten a better deal). Some fell for the scam... but, again, this is something the INSURERS should be blamed for, not the ACA.
