Jim Fouts (R) Mayor of Warren, Mich.. - "The city has certain values that I don't believe are in general agreement with having an atheist station, nor in general agreement with having a Nazi station or Klu Klux Klan station. I cannot accept or will not allow a group that is disparaging of another group to have a station here."

Just when you thought the crazies of the Republican party couldn't get any crazier Mayor Fouts, in the effort to silence non believers and in violation of the Constitution of the United States, banned a group of atheists from setting up a station alongside a religious group in city hall's atrium. Sanctioning religious activity in city hall while denying atheists the same freedom apparently wasn't enough for the "mayor", he felt it necessary to stoop to the low level of comparing atheists to Nazis and the KKK.

What do you want to bnet the "mayor" is much closer to the KKK and or the Nazis than the atheists will ever be? What a putz the guy is, and that is being much too polite.

  1. The beliefs of Atheists are fully protected under the Constitution. This man is a boob.

  2. The Nazi card has gotten so frayed (from abuse by both sides) that it's really starting to look like a coaster at this point and yet another salvo from the stupid party.

  3. The mayor seems a bit of a lothario. We surmise that the atheists might frown on his hanky-panky, while his in-house
prayer station would provide comfort and compare his actions to David and Bathsheeba.

  4. One of the best books on this subject is the "Ominous Parallels" by Professor of Philosophy Dr. Leonard Piekoff. An Objectivist he is not kind to republicans or conservatives generally.

  5. Oh my BB Idaho, how scandalous. But as they say..."to err is human, to forgive divine."

Case closed and to hell with the Constitution and reason itself.

  6. On another off topic point... MA. has an independent running for governor. A good developmen, I'll certainly be looking into his background and posistions thoroughly.
