  4. How does pro-choice relate to fear of showering at the gym?

Or does he mean the militant gay agenda causes fear of showering at the gym? He sure as hell didn't say that.

  7. The republicans should not have fielded any candidate in 2008, simply as an apology for the Bush/Cheney presidency. It might have been an exciting opportunity for a third party such as green, peace and freedom or whatever brand you crazy libertarians are going by nowadays. Now the republican party has completely marginalized any relevance they might have once possessed. It's more or less an open field for the democrats. Like playing football against an entire team with broken ankles. I repeat, they should have done their penance five years ago.

Now the only hope for the republican party is for them to turn over power to their women. Since that is not going to happen, let all God-fearing and loving American patriots pray for Hillary to run. Surely the minority party will field a viable republican female in 2020. For God's sake! What am I talking about? In another seven years, my grandson will be whining for me to buy him a car! lol republican party = deader than a rock

    1. May be. But be careful what you wish for. You might end up with somehong you don't realy want. One party rule.

    2. Come to think of it we're not that far from one party rule now. FJ.

    5. Do you really think Libertarians would do any better?

    6. They certainly could not do worse by a long shot. So, in answer Yes.

    7. Les: The Dems argue in favor of one-party rule when they have all the power, or most of it and want to have the rest of it (as with today's Federal Government). They argue against it when they have little power. Then they argue for bipartisanship, diversity in politics, and such.

Now, of course, the same is true when the Republicans are involved. Just reverse the names.

      -------------------

You are right about Libertarians, Les. Just about all of the problems we have had for a while have had to do with government doing too much in various areas. The Libertarians tend to do less, intervene less, in just about every sphere. That would imply fewer problems, right?

    11. Les: this sounds likd the very same Anon who recently said I was wrong about everything. You urged him to gave specifics, and he weaseled without refuting one thing I said.

The MO seems the same: insist you are wrong but never get specific.

    12. dmarks, I actually feel sorry for this dude. He has probably tripped over his own dick so many times he has suffered brain damage. Yet he (it) continues to believe how smart he (it) is. A truly sad case.

Careful, Les. If you go own this path and most of your comments end up being about male anatomy problems, that would end up like how WD liked to comment on my blog.

    15. Dennis: Now, of course, the same is true when the Republicans are involved. Just reverse the names.

It is true... if you just reverse the meaning of true and false. The Dems do favor bipartisanship, but there are no Repubs willing to work with them. Thus the choice becomes one of doing nothing or electing more Dems so we can move forward. Plus (unlike the Repubs) we have Conservatives and Liberals within the Democratic Party. Put Dems in charge and everyone will have a say (just not the fringe Right).

Dennis: If you go own this path and most of your comments end up being about male anatomy problems, that would end up like how WD liked to comment on my blog.

I didn't like to comment like that on your blog. I submitted an on-topic comment that you didn't like and falsely declared to be Spam. Still lying about it every chance you get, I see. Clearly Dennis is trying the "repeat a lie often enough" tactic here.

Seeing as I never blogged on male enhancement, your defining as "on topic" your dozens of attempted comments on that subject is ... what shall we say? Quite creative! Novel, in fact!

  9. That's an interesting take boys. But since we are not Egypt, Venezuela, Zimbabwe or China, the scales would eventually have to tip one way or the other. My fantasy is the democratic party becoming the conservative choice. I always fancied myself something of a conservative.

    2. If the Democrats replaced the Republicans as the Conservative choice and the Greens replaced the Democrats as the Liberal choice... that could work. I'd switch to the Green Party. I don't fancy myself any kind of Conservative.
