Ann Coulter Fires Off... For Good Reason!

Interesting. As well as accurate.

The Obama Super Pac add is indeed despicable. I point out that the Obama campaign did not do the ad in question. However, given the earlier "Obama killed my job add" approved by Obama it certainly is reasonable to believe Team Obama, if not the president himself, had at least a consulting role.

Despicable indeed.

Update:

Joe Soptic - From Obama Campaign Add
POLITICO 44 - Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki acknowledged Thursday that the campaign was no longer pleading ignorance about the story of a man who has appeared in both a super PAC ad and a campaign ad.

"No one is denying he was in one of our campaign ads. He was on a conference call telling his story," Psaki told reporters on Air Force One.

Missouri steelworker Joe Soptic starred in an Obama campaign ad and participated in a conference call with the campaign in May, as POLITICO reported Wednesday. He resurfaced this week in a Priorities USA Action super PAC ad, charging that his wife died of cancer after Mitt Romney's former private equity firm laid him off.

Distancing themselves from the controversial ad, Obama campaign staffers initially denied knowledge of Soptic's story — despite the fact that he was in an Obama campaign ad.

Adviser Robert Gibbs said he didn’t know "specifics," while deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter said on CNN: “I don’t know the facts about when Mr. Soptic’s wife got sick or the facts about his health insurance."

And yesterday on Air Force One, Psaki said, "we don’t have any knowledge of the story of the family."

UPDATE: Amanda Henneberg, a spokesperson for the Romney campaign, said this in a statement: "President Obama’s campaign has been caught lying about its knowledge concerning a vicious smear run by his Super PAC. And now, they have doubled down with another dishonorable and dishonest attack. In 2008, candidate Obama said ‘you make a big election about small things’ when you don’t have a record to run on. Since President Obama can’t run on record unemployment, falling incomes, and massive debt, he has decided to run a dirty campaign that is an affront to everything he claims to stand for."

Indeed. From our " President of Integrity" campaign staff.

    1. She does have a way of making her points. Not that I always, or even usually, agree with her. On this one, from a purely campaign strategy perspective Coulter is right.

No. It is not the least bit "reasonable." It doesn't even make sense. Why would they take a chance like that? Why would they have to? It's an obvious vulnerability for Romney, and any coordination with the PAC would be illegal.

It makes no sense. It didn't happen.

    Let's be real here.

Now, could the decisions made by people like Romney have effected people's lives in ways like that? Yes, of course. And Romney chose to play in that game for money. Barack Obama worked with everyday people to make their lives better. I like Obama a lot more than Romney. He has shown himself to be a better human being.

    1. Keep smokin the hopium and believe there is no possibility that it was coordinated (ever hear of plausible deny-ability jmj, of course you have. But of course Team Obama WOULD NEVER do that. LMFAO)

    2. At the very least they (the Obama folks) lied about not knowing his story....I mean, they used him in an advertisement, too, right?

    1. Indeed it is Silver. The evasions, equivocations, intentional misrepresentation, spinning, outright lying, and general political chicanery from both sides will be in full bloom and on open display for all to witness...

Politics is a dirty business, always has been. The Romney and Obama campaigns are simply taking it to a new low.

      The cliff awaits...

  4. One of the stupidest things foolish, purely partisan, low IQ operatives like Sean Hannity do is constantly REITERATE the D'Rat lies, distortions, obfuscations.

Don't they REALIZE that such practice only HELPS gives the D'Rat point of view added exposure and emphasis?

They didn't coin the phrase "The Evil Party versus the Stupid Party" for nothing.

I'll give you three guesses as to which is which.

By the way, while I may recoil from and take exception to Ann Coulter's always-abrasive style at times, I can't remember a time when she's been flat out wrong, can you?

    1. Hannity is a shill for the Republican Established power base

Coulter, as abrasive as she is, and often (in my opinion) shall we say partially incorrect, has, forgive the obvious, balls.
