Enjoy!
Two Alligators were sitting around talking, and the smaller Alligator turned to the bigger one & said, 'I can't understand how you can be so much bigger than me. We're the same age; we were the same size as kids. I just don't get it.

'Well,' said the big Gator, 'what have you been eating?'

'Politicians, same as you,' replied the small Gator.

'Hmm. Well, where do you catch them?'

'Down the other side of the swamp near the parking lot by the Capitol'

'Same here. Hmm. How do you catch them?'

'Well, I crawl up under one of their Lexus cars & wait for one to unlock the car door. Then I jump out, grab them by the leg, shake the shit out of them and eat 'em!

'Ah!' says the big Alligator, 'I think I see your problem.. You're not getting any real nourishment. See, by the time you finish shaking the shit out of a politician, there's nothing left but an asshole and a briefcase.*

Has there ever been truer words spoken? LMAO!

Hey, Les, look at this. The black caucus, *HA!*, is out to get those evil TEA Party folks.

I see a bad moon a risin', indeed. Nothing works more damage than the racially-tinged victim hood mentality of the Democrats. Just watch.

  2. Yes Donald, what you say is true.

The woman that commented she was there for answers and solutions and not politics said ti just right I think.

  3. Here is a good PROGRESSIVE perspective that pretty much hits the nail on the head:

  4. While I find this interesting, and it certainly does make some solid observations, there are some parallels to Rand's thinking as well.

Perhaps someday progressives will eventual see the broader picture. However, to do so they will need to revisit classical liberalism.

On this we can agree, the current situation and system is not making us better. In fact it is pushing the nation into deeper a deeper sickness.

The problem will remain how to merge differing philosophies and political beliefs into a cohesive workable system.

When it comes right down to the nitty gritty extreme positions {on either side of the great divide}color a persons ability to view reality in a rational frame of reference.

A word of caution, "beware of the wolf wearing sheep's clothing."

  5. There's no middle ground between the libertarians and the progressives right now. Libertarians are dead set against raiing taxes and investing in the country - period. Yet, without that taxing and spending (ew - bogey bogey bogey) the country will continue to decline.

    @JMJ,

Raising taxes is equivalent to "investing in this country", or did you mean those as separate statements?
