Progressive Fascism... at It's Worst

Birthplace of Independent Conservatism

If you have long wondered about just what it might be that is part of the the problem with America today you need look no further than radicalized progressivism. Or more accurately stated liberal fascism.

One of the most glaring examples of liberal fascism I have seen recently can be found at This progressive website. It would be almost scary were it not so laughingly irrational, and shrouded in the thick fog of progressivism.

The scum in Wisconsin's Senate chamber killed democracy today by voting for the controversial voter ID bill. The good people of Wisconsin are outraged, Democrats are outraged, and the fucking Nazi's in Wisconsin are on the march. They know their days are numbered so they are passing every measure they can to insure the voters of Wisconsin are tilted in their favor. This is fascism at it's finest, it's beyond despicable... {Read More}

It is my guess the author of this rabidly hateful article {no doubt the author is projecting} graduated from the ultra-liberal University of Wisconsin at Madison. Or some other extremely left leaning liberal arts university.

At any rate does anyone believe it possible to find common ground, or even a remote possibility of compromise with individuals such as this? I certainly know where I come down in answer to that question.

Fascism is a despicable centralized economic and political system. One which the progresses
frequently use to paint republicans specifically and conservatives generally with. They ought to look in the mirror. Real hard.

Notice the classy language of the die hard progressive fascist?

  1. Les, in my opinion, one of Mr. Obama's best speeches was the one he delivered at the memorial service in Arizona. I mean, I know that some people said that it was opportunistic and all but, overall I'm saying, I really think that he hit all the right notes in terms of ALL OF US toning it down a tad. Ironic, isn't it, that the progressive wing of Mr. Obama's own party is the group that has least taken his words to heart?

  2. And this same blogger also said that she never heard former Congressman Grayson ever say anything "extreme". "Taliban Dan" evidently didn't count for her.

  3. Idaho recently passed a similar law, after the first failed to meet constitutional requirements. I had to show photo ID when I voted for
school board last week. Our heavily
    Republican legislature made voter ID
their #1 goal. Perversely, the same legislature fought very hard against
a national ID. I don't use the F word, but I know hypocricy and lust
for power when I see it. BTW as a Wisconin grad, I suspect the writer
    was an undergrad polysci type..we
physical chemists don't talk quite that rudely.

  4. I simply fail to see the problem with a photo voter ID card that confirms your State and US citizenship. If you haven't the time {or legitimacy} to get a card, well you don't vote.

only requirement... proof of state and US citizenship. Of course cost to maintain an effective data base to insure there is no nefarious activities going on would be substantial.

  5. There's a huge problem with voter fraud out there, and the only people who could oppose this strongly are those who get political power from bogus votes.

But hey, these are the same people that would claim that Gore won in 2000 if you count voteless ballots as Gore ballots. And they want to entirely corrupt the matter of Congressional districting with "statistical sampling" (which lets them make up imaginary voters to populate districts) instead of doing an accurate Census.

  6. I can kind of see both sides to this issue. My major complaint here isn't the position that one may or may not take on it. It's the demonization that those on the far left feel compelled to disseminate if in fact you have the balls/audacity to disagree with them. That, my friends, is staring to get really nauseating.

  7. Sometimes it seems as if the sides disagree with something simply because the other is for it.

The reality though is this is more to suppress a group of voters than protect the process.

One thing I've always admired about the righties is that no matter what the election, they vote. I've spent hours on election day begging people on my list to go vote. I stopped that a few years back because it no longer, imho, works.

  8. You can usually judge the smallness of the mind by the coarseness of the lanuage. The quoted article is one more proof.

  9. "The reality though is this is more to suppress a group of voters than protect the process."

The only group that ends up suppressed is the criminals with illegal votes. I'm 100% supportive of supressing them, because every one of their bogus votes ends up disenfranchising an actual voter.

  10. You fail to see, because you are uneducated on the fact that some groups have roadblocks to getting an ID card. Since most of those groups are poor, and the poor are unequally represented by blacks, there is your cry of racism.
Voter fraud, is a straw man issue. It is not a huge problem, in fact it is much less of a problem than it was 50 years ago, or 20 years ago.
Legislative time would be better spent on REAL problems.
This issue is part of the "social engineering" that Newt was talking about and blasting his fellow Republicans for engaging in.

  11. Anonymous: Well, I can assure you that I am NOT uneducated and I have seen FIRST HAND that many who are poor have NO problem signing up for food stamps, welfare AND cell phones, so, they shouldn’t have any problem getting a state ID card…IF it’s IMPORTANT to them.

And stop with the charge of “racism”, it only shows your lack of education and it holds no merit.

Even a small amount of voter fraud is TOO much. Any person with an ounce of dignity would NOT want it…PERIOD.

  12. Les: I live in Pennsylvania and if asked I have to show proof of identity when purchasing tobacco products and alcohol. Also, anytime I purchase Pseudoephedrine it must be at the pharmacy counter where I must not only sign for it but also show proof of identity. Here we also must be 18 to purchase cough medicine, spray paint and super glue and at Wal-Mart the register tells the clerk to “check ID”, but Target’s register won’t continue unless the clerk actually swipes our driver’s license! Needless to say I won’t purchase cough medicine at Target anymore. We also have to show our driver’s license to rent a car and hotel rooms. And we have to send in copies, front AND back, when we purchase a car or a flippin’ dirt bike.

I realize those items above aren’t constitutional, but it is an infringement on our personal liberties. I mean, a driver’s license for cough medicine? It’s ridiculous!

No one should be impeded at the voting booth, but neither should there be fraud, no matter how small. So, if there is a way for us to vote securely, I’m for that, even if it means showing ID. And anyone can get a state photo ID card, even seniors and college students.

  13. Pamela - Well stated.

I am as much of a Libertarian in many respects as I am a conservative in others. I, like you am educated and therefore like you understand voter fraud is an affront to the very democratic republic principals on which this nation was founded.

Anon, on the other hand has his head where the sun don't shine.

  15. I have no idea how rampant voter fraud is. Maybe it has been exaggerated by the right. But I do in fact have 3 questions. 1) How do we know whether or not the registered names are legitimate? 2) How do we know for sure whether voter lists have been scrubbed of felons, dead people, illegals, etc.? 3) And how do we know that unused ballots haven't been submitted illegally bu precinct workers?......I mean, I don't know, to me, it doesn't sound like voter fraud would be all that hard to perpetrate

  16. I hate to break everyone's heart here...but a photo ID will not curb a thing! I know for a fact that it is very easy for illegal immigrants to get state drivers licenses....I remember a few years ago a group of my employees joined up with a few others from another company and made a trip to Florida: Apparently someone in the DMV was selling Florida drivers licenses that weekend.

Get a Florida Drivers License and zoomba! You have a current Kentucky license the next week!

Now you are legal to vote!

I also know that you can go to MacArthur Park in Los Angeles and get a professional copy of any document you want for a price! I actually saw someone with THOUSANDS of blank Social Security Cards in their trunk! Get them personalized while you wait!

That is why immigration reform will have to involve amnesty because we have a whole bunch of people who have made themselves alot of money over the years selling fake documents to illegal immigrants! There is no way we can clean up that mess....and if you want to clean up our voting situation we will have to go with a national ID card that involves a micro chip or thumb print or something....

Its time to realize that we are a very sick society....

So, do you want a bunch of people voting who shouldn't or maybe voting multiple times....

Or do you want a national id card?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Ah guys. You're all nuts when it comes to voter fraud. It's far too hard for individuals to pull off. Election judges are generally the same people year after year and know the names and faces of just about everyone.

The real threat is dishonest county clerks that could use voter lists that have never been purged, early voting machines in their offices and a willing, equally dishonest employee.

Another instance of when I was toild to stfu bu superiors who didn;t want to cause a ruckus.

  18. What I, as well as most all conservatives and Libertarians want is simply this...

    1) ONLY US CITIZENS HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE IN NATIONAL ELECTIONS. AND THE INSURANCE THEY VOTE ONLY ONCE.

    2) THAT CITIZENS CAN ONLY VOTE IN THE STATE IN WHICH THEY PRINCIPALLY RESIDE. UNLESS THEY ARE SERVING IN THE MILITARY AND ARE STATIONED OVERSEAS AT POLLING TIME. IN WHICH CASE THEY CAST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT.

3)BUSINESSMEN TRAVELING OUT OF NECESSITY OVERSEAS AT VOTING TIME CAN CAST A VALID ABSENTEE BALLOT... ONCE.

    4) THAT NO US CITIZEN IS DENIED THE RIGHT TO VOTE.

Now, all you progressive collectivist whose sole desire is to control the lives of the individual please, in a rationally defensible manner, show how what is stated above is wrong.

  19. I just love stupid shit like this:

"US Citizen" or "Citizen" which means what? How do you proove it? Picture ID? Drivers License? What?

Get off your soap box Les and get real....you haven't told us a thing....you got 12 million illegal aliens in this country and probably 10 million of them can "prove" their citizenship better than you could!

    They got documents...

  20. And I JUST LOVE stupid crap like your comment TAO...
