Ending My Week on a Cultural Note

There are times I feel in a more, shall we say, cultural mood. In hearkening back to my musical past, which was by and large classical, I found myself listening to the great work of a fine Russian composer, Tchaikovsky.

So, in keeping with my weekly music selection here is the 1812 Overture Finale by Tchaikovsky.

A true musical masterpiece. For those who enjoyed the finale here's the link to the complete Overture.

Have a great week!

  1. Just a reminder Les on your title, Sunday is the BEGINNING of the week not the finale.

    Any who, great music!

  2. For me it's the Finale. I officially start my week on Monday!

But your point is well taken and correct! Thanks.

Yeah, I miss the hay days of my musical endeavors.

  3. I just changed the title from Ending the Week to Ending My Week! ;)

  4. Les my friend, Monday is a bad day to start thy week but to each their own.

You did not have to change the title as my comment was just that, a comment but must say you are one Stand Up American! I hope you had a very pleasant Easter!

  5. Thanks Chris, I am humbled by your kind words.
