The Coming Of The "Mahdi"

From CBN NEWS:
'Prophetic' Signs'

The ongoing upheavals in other Middle Eastern countries like Yemen and Egypt--including the rise of the Muslim Brotherood -- are also analyzed as prophetic signs that the Mahdi is near -- so is the current poor health of the king of Saudi Arabia, an Iranian rival.

"Isn't the presence of Abdullah, his illness, and his uncertain condition, great news for those anxious for the coming?" asks the narrator.

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Khameini, and Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Iran's terrorist proxy Hezbollah, are hailed as pivotal end times players, whose rise was predicted in Islamic scriptures.

The same goes for Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadenijad, who the video says will conquer Jerusalem prior to the Mahdi's coming.

"I think it's a very grave development," Mideast expert Joel Rosenberg, author of The Twelfth Imam, told CBN News, "because it gives you a window into the thinking of the Iranian leadership: that they believe the time for war with Israel may be even sooner than others had imagined."

Kahlili says The Coming is Near will soon be distributed by the Iranian regime throughout the Middle East. He explained that their goal is to instigate further uprisings in Arab countries.
Indeed the events in the Arab world are grave signs of human irrationality. Iran, a Persian Islamic {so called}Republic, ruled by a mad dictator and a group of fanatical mystics called mullahs, see the current uprisings in the region as the Islamic version of the end times. Lo and behold with the believed coming of the
"Mahdi" , the twelfth Imam., Iran is planning on stirring up more unrest to hasten the coming and the destruction of the state of Israel. Further the "Mahdi" will lead Muslims in the destruction of all non Muslims worldwide. Or so it is believed in Islam.

Video:

More unrest is most assuredly on the way. Aided and abetted by the Iranian regime. The west stands in ever increasing danger. Yet we remain blind to it and unprepared for it's likely fallout.

Indeed the next clash of civilizations may very well make the crusades look like a social gathering.

  1. Really funny isn't it?

We have Christian cable stations that broadcast constantly about "Rapture" and all of that...and we pay it no attention.

In fact most of our undying support for Israel is based upon religious beliefs.

    Onward Christian/Muslim Soldiers!

  2. YET THEY DO NOT CALL FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF A SOVEREIGN STATE. YOU KNOW, AS IN WIPING THEM OFF THE MAP.

THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST PLAIN CRAZIES. SERIOUSLY CRAZIES.

    DANGEROUSLY CRAZY.

    OH WELL. WHATEVER HAPPENS HAPPENS.

IT WILL BE MESSY, REAL MESSY. BUT OH WELL. NOT TO WORRY. WE HAVE THE NEW GREAT WARRIOR IN THE OVAL OFFICE PROTECTING THE WORLD AGAINST THE LIBYAN DICTATOR.

i FEEL ALL BETTER AND SAFER JUST KNOWING THAT.

  3. This is the sort of rhetoric we see when regimes feel threatened. It is an appeal to the religious right to stand by the theocracy. I don't think it will amount to much. Even the religious right in Iran and around the region seem to be losing their faith in the theocrats.

  4. @TAO,

Now it is your intolerance that is showing.

You advocate freedom of religion as long as it is not that awful Christianity and its horrid zealots who want to stop abortion, strengthen our military, and have a National Day of Prayer, but you don't blink an eye when Obama says, "God bless America" at the end of his scripted speeches. You didn't bat an eye when Obama took the oath of office as our President swearing in on a Christian Bible.

Why no cries from the left saying these are all violations of the coveted "separation of church and state" you libs all scream about like schoolgirls?

You want your cake and to eat it, too, as long as it's one of your own who is involved. If it were a GOP fella saying 'God Bless America', you would be raging and gnashing your teeth in protest.

Defend Islam. Please do. Make sure we all realize it is not a threat, and that those damned Christians are worse than the muslim extremists. Good luck with that. I have yet to see any American with common sense point to Jesus and 9/11 and say, "He did this".

    Tedious, TAO. So tedious.

  5. Historically there have been a number of 'Mahdis'. One of the more destructive, the leader of the Sudanese, conquerer of Chinese Gordon at Khartoum, establishing a Mahdist
state, pretty much destroyed by Kitchnener (and young cavalry officer
    Winston Churchill) at Omdurman. So,
regarding 'The Coming of the Mahdi', they come and go; on the pragmatic side, IMO, sort of a religious/nationalist combo useful
    in 'playing to the base'...

  6. Donald, I didn't say a damn thing about freedom of anything...you need to get off your soapbox because you obviously get dizzy if left too long in high places.

I think that Obama should have stated that we had "smoking gun" proof that the Mahdi was in Libya and then Les would have been cheering Obama on!

What would life be without some big conspiracy and all those evil liberals who do nothing to make your world a safe place?

So, Obama is killing muslims in Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq, and Libya....and yet all we hear from you off the map conservatives is how liberals are not taking the muslim threat serious enough! Hey when Reagan hurled a couple of missles at Khaffadi I am sure you were cheering him on....so go ahead and cheer on Obama cause he is hurling hundreds of missles....Donald you should be orgasming right now!

The reality is this is just pre 2012 test rhetoric to see if you can find a way to paint Obama and the liberals as making this country unsafe....hell, Obama could nuke Tehran and Tripoli and then you would find some threat to our culture, our society, and our country from some other off the wall idea....what do you have left? The Hare Krishna's?

  7. @TAO,

LOL! I needed a good belly laugh after supper with my family, and you came through for me! Excellent!
