Christine O'Donnell.... We Are Fortunate She Lost

Ye Haw!! As much as I am about to upset many in the Tea Parry movement I   must admit that I do not give the proverbial "rats a*s.

Sorry.... However, as much as I covered my eyes during last year's campaign I can no longer do so.

Christine O'Donnell is really nothing more than the empty headed ideologue her detractors portrayed her to be.

In short she has no original ideas and bases her.... Whatever it may be considered, on fluff, BS, and anything her supporters are blindly and willing capable of buying into. Unfortunately many in America will continue to listen to, and buy into her line of whatever sounds right and plays well with the drug induced members of her click.

Follow if you will her ramblings on TPM.
Failed GOP Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell is back, and she's telling supporters she wants her newly formed political action committee ChristinePAC to "investigate and counter attack leftwing groups."

O'Donnell, who wrote that her losing campaign sent "shockwaves" throughout the nation, said in an e-mail to supporters Tuesday that her group will look into the groups "funded with one million dollars or more from billionaire leftist George Soros."

"The Left keeps after me because they consider strong, Republican women a danger to their status quo," O'Donnell wrote. "Your donation also enables me to speak out in many venues from Coast to Coast, thereby helping support a nationwide effort. This is a way that will help me counter attack our opponents and bring the battle to them."

ChristinePAC is based out of O'Donnell's Delaware home, raising concerns for ethics groups given that O'Donnell is already under investigation for alleged misuse of campaign funds.

O'Donnell also claims that President Barack Obama and the White House regarded her "as their number one opponent."

Sounding an awful a lot like a Glenn Beck conspiracy theory to me. What's your thoughts?

More of 0'Donnell's perspective:
Your incredible contribution of time and money allowed us to send the establishment a powerful message last year. Our fight is not over as so many patriots like you have sacrificed over the years to keep America great!

You've probably heard about the latest smear on me. The establishment is going to keep attacking and keep trying to destroy those they think might be a threat.

They won't let up.

The Left keeps after me because they consider strong, Republican women a danger to their status quo. Larry Kudlow recently said "the hope of the Tea Party rests with you because this is going to be used to discredit the Tea Party in its entirety."

Bill O'Reilly recognizes the viciousness of the Left's attacks on me. Recently on his program he said "...the press relished attacking you. They relished it. They loved it... they didn't go after Carly Fiorina the way they went after you. It was all personal... They just want to demean you... The old boys don't want to give up their power."

I'm determined not to let them destroy our movement. If I stand alone, though, I'm no match for the liberal media and the political establishment. But, with us standing together to fight, they don't have a chance!

Read the remainder of her "campaign" remarks and her obviously future politically grounded concern and what is really driving her ambitions.

  1. Meh. I don't like her, either. Best to just ignore that one; without an audience, she'll fade away.

  2. Les,

I did not follow the link as it is from TPM and they are known to be of a socialist nature.

That said, what you show as "her ramblings" I really do not see any difference from other patriots including conservative bloggers.

Not being from Delaware I have no skin in that game but do know I do not care for the winner of that particular election. If you ask me, Delaware did not get the lesser of two evils if that is to be the gauge.

Remember it is thus far still a free country and proof of this is Ron Paul and to be fair Dennis Kunsinich.

Another thought might be to revisit campaign speeches from the last election of a member of the opposite gender, different state, different race (literally) and a winner who goes by the name Allen West and see if the two don't actually agree.

    Just food for thought.

Indeed it does. It sounds like she is trying to capitalize or associate herself with Beck and his seemingly endless attacks on Soros. (Not unwarranted attacks. Soros is a madman. And he has enough money at his disposal to make things happen. Bad things.)

I think Fuzzy Slippers is correct, as well. Eventually this woman will fade into obscurity and be nothing more than the punchline of a joke. If VH-! were to ever have a "Where Are They Now?" show, but have it focus on political personas, Christine would be one of their first subjects.

This is an embarrassment to The TEA Party.

  4. The whole nation is fortunate she didn't win. The same goes for Sharon Angle.

When you look at some of the other "TEA Party victories" (they didn't run particular candidates, per se), whatever their peculiar positions, they do seem like competent, educated people. I'm no fan of Rand Paul, but he's obviously not an idiot, even if I believe some of his positions seem more than a little crazy to me. Scott Brown is no fool, and on top of that he shows that the TEA Party is not nearly as ideologically zealous as some would describe. They do want to win elections.

What was odd about O'Donnell and Angle was where they were nominated. It shows the dynamic geographic differences in the movement.

It seemed to me that Delaware and Nevada were not good places to run such candidates. Angle and O'Donnell could have won in places like Tennessee or Kentucky. But Delaware and Nevada have very different demographics than the Deep Red states of the South. In their cases, the TEA Party pushed candidates who were simply unrealistic for their states (granted, Angle came close, but that's because Reid was so terribly unpopular even among the Center and Left).

The recent CNN poll showing Republicans were willing to concede some ideological purity for the sake of victory shows the lesson has been learned - don't run nutty candidates, just nutty positions. ;)

  5. If she runs again and wins, our side gets another vote in the Senate. Is that so hard to accept?

She believes in our Constitution. Is that so hard to accept?

She believes in our right to assemble. Is that so hard to accept?

There is only one drawback to her I see. It's her inexperience dealing with a Left Political Machine she had to deal with, without help from the Republican Party.

I saw in her principals and backbone. These are two things, on our side, I've seen missing in my state in the last few elections.
