Stimulus Package Has Failed

I am no Keynesian advocate. The responsible side of me realizes that deficit spending long term is a recipe for fiscal disaster. So one would properly question why the post of this video of Jeffery Sachs, a Keynesian economist. The answer, he acknowledges the Obama stimulus has failed. Hard as it is to believe the statement was made on MSNBC's Morning Joe with Joe Scarborough.

The video is worth the investment in time and Joe Scarborough is right on with his statement that it's all about the debt. A debt that keeps growing and showing  no sign of letting up anytime soon.

Also note Sachs discussing Obama's strategy in the Gulf. He talks about improvisation and on this note he hits a real home run. The current President and his administration has been improvising since taking the White House.

The good news is unemployment fell to a four year low, certainly at year six in Obama's Presidential tenure strikes a positive note. Or does it? When "their side" has nothing of substance to offer, and they known it, posters such as the one below become popular. Such posters are considered intellectual by the teabag folks on the right. To be balanced such posters do find their way onto left-wing weblogs. The difference? His last uttering in and of itself is enough to deny the man, and I use the term loosely in this case, another term as President.
