What can I even say? Absolutely disgusting. I just caught this at Saberpoint:

Rabbi David Nesenoff of New York is the cinematographer who taped Helen Thomas's anti-Israel rant this week. The YouTube video of Thomas went viral and she was denounced far and wide, leading to her abrupt retirement from the White House Press Corps.

Now Rabbi Nesenoff is the recipient of torrents of hateful bile from anti-semites and Islam-Firsters who are outraged that Jews should be allowed to exist.
Saberpoint is onto something, Fox News has this:

The New York rabbi who videotaped veteran White House correspondent Helen Thomas telling Jews to "get the hell out of Palestine" says he has received numerous death threats and thousands of pieces of hate mail in the days since Thomas' abrupt retirement.

Rabbi David Nesenoff said he is facing an "overload" of threatening e-mails calling for a renewed Holocaust and targeting his family — a barrage of hate he said he planned to report to the police on Wednesday.

"This ticker tape keeps coming in," Nesenoff told FoxNews.com. "We got one specific one saying, 'We're going to kill the Jews; watch your back.'"
If I hadn't cruised by Saberpoint I wouldn't have even heard about this outrage. Nothing on Memeorandum, nothing on CNN, ABC, CBS....

Stogie mentioned that Rabbi Nesenoff is publishing some of the emails that he has received. Not knowing what to expect, I went to Rabbi David Nesenoff's site - RabbiLIVE.com. It's not pretty. Being a blogger with a strong voice has exposed me to my share of threats from raging leftist whackos. Nothing, mind you, like anything I see at Rabbi David Nesenoff's site. I screen-shot the few that didn't contain the 'f' word:

Sickening. How can citizen journalists do the job that the press won't knowing the possible violence that they may face?

UPDATED: (via Gateway Pundit) Rosie O'Donnell surprises no one and opens her cheeseburger-chomping yapper. I wonder if Rosie O'Donnell is the author of one of Rabbi Nesenoff's death threats?:

    Like I've said on some other sites, if the European Jews have to "go home", then the Palestinian Muslims whose lineage goes back to Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Yemen, the Indian subcontinent, Tunisia, Tripoli, etc., those people have to go home as well. To imply, as the haters of Israel always tend to, that there has been a static/long-standing "Palestinian" population in Palestine is absurd!
