Cato Weekly Video

This Cato video discuses free global trade, NAFTA, and the perceived benefits and drawbacks of free trade. I find the discussion interesting however it raises perhaps as many questions as it may answer.

It is nevertheless interesting for those who are interested in and concerned with U.S. trade policy.

Except for those receiving a subsidy or are getting it free. All that aside I do agree with following Moyers & Company article stating that ObamaCare is widening the gap between red America and blue America. Something needed to be done with our health care and insurance system. Most agree that the pre ObamaCare system needed some work. Whenever this happens the wise person considers the perspective, as well as the experiences of the person calling the entrenched views into check. In doing so one learns and therefor grows. At least that is how it should work. Milos Forman , the immigrant from Czechoslovakia who later won Academy Awards for best director for the films “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” and “Amadeus”, provides just such a check for America.
