A Day Of Humor

Every now and again a break from the norm is welcome and good for the soul. Today was just such a day at Rational Nation USA.

Today's search for humor turned up these gems. Humorous with a bit of truth each. Here's hoping you enjoyed these as much as I did.

lol here's something I commented on Sue's blog but I can guarantee it will be a little too profound for her to display.

  2. Today I turned on the TV and thought that I was watching an episode of The Three Stooges, then I checked the channel guide, and it was CSPAN.

  7. Here's another thing you won't find at Sue's!
Employers stepped up job creation in April, expanding payrolls by 290,000, the most in four years. The jobless rate rose to 9.9 percent as people streamed back into the market looking for work. The hiring of 66,000 temporary government workers to conduct the census helped overall payroll growth last month.

Now, I don't believe it. This crap has been all over the news all day. Had to be some idiot in one of Obama's focus groups that came up with the unemployment rate going up because more people were looking for work. It's one of the most bizarre things I've ever heard and the lame streamers don't question the illogical one bit. But at Sue's it's gospel.

  8. lisa - I suppose the argument they make is that those who had exhausted their unemployment and became totally disillusioned and stop looking altogether suddenly were motivated to hit the pavement again and begin looking.

It does sound like funny statistics and I have no idea what data they based the claim on.

I am sure you saw my comment at Sue's. I believe that after the stimulus money runs out we will see another downturn as much of the infrastructure work the money went to will be over.

Obama the Boy Wonder, failing to dazzle us with brilliance will attempt to baffle us with Bull*hit.
